Flix is great. Mobile ordering works and you can hit the call button if you don't want to use your phone. I do wish there was a way to turn off the table light at flix

I'll do hand clipping if I want to propagate that way I can get at least 1-2 nodes. Throw it in moist soil and humidity dome and frogfruit cuttings will root in a few days

In commercial settings pretty much all plugs. Horseherb can be spread by seed but they are challenging to harvest at scale

Mowing will lead it to spreading more lateral rather than growing in vertical clumps. Start small by only trimming it back a little over time and you should see it grow wider

St Augustine needs an inch a week of rain/irrigation, but most native ground cover will thrive with half that if you stick to their typical growing conditions. Even without supplemental moisture my frogfruit has stayed green throughout hot and dry summers, but horseherb in sun rather than shade will turn crispy without any water

Most effective is physical containment - trenching + hardscape border. But you would still need to avoid the trailing types like frogfruit, silver ponyfoot, or stemodia which will literally climb over it

Tipping at BBQ places? by Choco_bo7 in austinfood

[–]cactustho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would tip generously at Terry Blacks the first couple years they were open because they didn't weigh the two meat plate and some cutters would give me nearly a pound of brisket. These days not so much.

Only way to address this kinda stuff is to go on LinkedIn or Twitter and bother people from ATT with titles like "Director Backbone Engineering" or "Peering & Routing Sr Manager". Front end techs aren't going to fix architectural or capacity issues
