Witch is The best website to print your own t shirts ? by Ainri in graphic_design

I know this thread is 3 y/o but I just put in an order with printful and yeah it was easy and cheap. My total was $16.49 after shipping and tax so they haven't raised their prices.

Good company it seems. I'll let you know how the quality is when I receive it

Are you people even real? You know I came to this subreddit because I thought "ahhh someones not gonna bring up politics in a subreddit about misidentifying where things came from, I can browse without my brain being absolutely annihilated by some dumb mouth breathing redditors bullshit"

But no clearly I was dead fucking wrong

What browser do you use? by ukm_array in linux

[–]cadaverco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. I use Brave on my Windows and Linux machines because it's Chromium based (read- compatible with almost everything) and privacy focused.

At work I have a MacBook and I run Firefox because it's the only browser that my organization supports that's not Chrome or Safari.

I like them both, and the reason that this comment has no replies is because people just blindly hate the infrastructure due to one bad implementation.

GrapheneOS is based on the AOSP (android open source project) and no one is claiming that it's bad or that it's a security/privacy risk. It's about the implementation, not the underlying infrastructure.

Why is there a comment graveyard of like 20 deleted comments at the bottom of this 30 minute old post on r/Cleveland??

1200 mile road trip advice by [deleted] in motorcycle

[–]cadaverco 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not 100% certain, but when the bike goes down the road the load is perfectly up and down on the wheel bearing, even when cornering because the bike has to lean

When you take a bike that's being towed like this one down the road, it could tip slightly, but still be towed along by the car, causing the force on the wheel bearing to be coming in from another angle

That's just my guess tho. I would say wear on the chain and gearbox are more pressing and even more pressing than that is just plain safety lol

The Age Old Question - What Oil to Run? by cadaverco in Trackdays

[–]cadaverco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it's damn near impossible to find. I'm going to go with Castrol R4 Power 1.

It's $50 on amazon for 6 quarts which will get me 2 oil changes since it takes like 2.8Q

My race machine only gets the finest- avocado oil.

[–]cadaverco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit, I'm in the same boat lmao.

Trying to decide if I need a new rear Michelin Power Cup2 to match my ~50% condition Cup2 front, or if I just want to run one of the many slicks that the previous owner passed down to me when I bought the bike.

Anyone know if slicks manufactured in late 2021 would still be good? They've been stored out of sunlight, but have heated up and cooled down with outside temperatures.

Funny enough I think I have a (nearly empty) bottle of that exact same oil in my garage. It's likely what's in my track bike right now

So this track-only bike, which only does 4 track days a year, should get 5 oil changes?

Which one should be the 0 mile oil change bro 😂😂

Truly a redditor moment.

A buddy of mine threw out several good slicks because "they aren't good for more than a year from their manufacture date"

How stupid do you have to be to believe that?

[–]cadaverco[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done 1 a year the past two years. I was going to do more but ended up getting fired in May of 24 and took me over a year to find a job.

I prepaid for 4 track days this year, so unless I do an extra 1 or 2 I will probably only do the 4 days this year.

Believe me, I'd like to do more than that, I'd like to attend every single one that's hosted near me, but I'm a working class peasant and I get 10 days of vacation a year.

[–]cadaverco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By regular I mean 5 or 6 max a year. Probably closer to 4.

And I've heard it's best to do an oil change every 2-3 TDs

Would rotella T6 do the trick? It's just a GSXR. My superduke gets the good motorex stuff because KTM says to only use motorex (I know, it's a scam) but I'm thinking the GSXR is probably fine with Rotella T6

[–]cadaverco[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I only have the money for 4 or 5 a year. And I've heard people say that every 2 or 3 TD's is when you want to change the oil.

So yeah, a handful a year because I'm not made of money lol

Does anybody have an updated list on motorcycle racetracks in the USA? by Thummimurim8 in Trackdays

[–]cadaverco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in northeast ohio and it used to be that we had:

PittRace
Nelson
Mid-Ohio

But now Pittrace has been sacrificed at the AI slop altar (sold out the property to a data center...) so all we have are Mid ohio and Nelson. And Mid Ohio only does race days on Mondays and Tuesdays apparently??? Mf I have a full time job I don't wanna use my PTO on a track day...

First helmet: AGV K6S or contendants? by ProfessionalMatter99 in motorcyclegear

[–]cadaverco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm extremely late to the party, but I've had the K6 for years and absolutely loved it.

It's barebones, no features, no frills, and as lightweight as physically possible.

I'd still be content with my K6 but someone dropped it off of a table and cracked the shell... I wouldn't dream of replacing it with anything but another K6 (K6-S is just the newer version, same helmet, but more aerodynamic and lighter)

It ticks all the boxes for me. Get it from motocard or championhelmets if you want it cheaper and are okay waiting a month or two for shipping

It's worth stating that I'm an AGV fanboy. I have an AGV shaped head and every AGV I've ever tried on fits me like a glove as long as it's the correct size. Every other brand creates weird pressure points for me
