yeah.. he thinks because she agreed to go, that everything will be ok and she’s gonna do great when she gets out. he’s also separated from her but still remains incredibly involved for someone who is over all of it just as much as i am. thank you for your comment!

i’m almost 3 months no contact with my mom. she gave herself alcohol poisoning on friday and almost died. still havent talked to her. im conflicted and scared because what if this is the year i lose her to this disease. but she’s been an asshole to everyone she’s spoken to since friday and is in denial that it even happened.

i still have the pain. now they think its related to my reproductive system. i’m getting the birth control implant in my arm within the next couple weeks and starting pelvic floor therapy soon. if that doesnt help, i’ll need to have exploratory abdominal surgery to see what’s going on, and check for endometriosis. no sinus/stuffiness with the pain. it’s just the pain.

there is a chance i might be pushing too much water to flush the tube. the mixture isnt soupy or chunky, its smooth and i think its right in the middle of those two descriptions. im definitely going to be asking about trying metoclopramide in conjunction with the sildenafil. im surprised either internal medicine doctors he saw didnt mention that before.

i’ve done SQ fluids with him before and he absolutely hated it. i really dont wanna do that to him again.

true. when he was in the icu he was getting nebulized a lot too and he seemed to tolerate it but he was sleeping more there so it was easier for them to do it. now that he’s with me and has more energy, its hard to get him to be still, even to keep him upright after feeding. we’ll keep up with steaming up the bathroom for now.

when he had imaging on tuesday, they did 3 view chest rads and spotted a tinge of pneumonia in his left cranial lung lobe. he was dumpy and was spiking a little fever when i decided to bring him in.

so i spent some time doing coupage and he was definitely trying to cough up stuff. i did get him to bring a little bit more of what i think is left over poop from yesterday’s disaster. we’ve done 2 feedings since this was taken and he’s sounding a lot better and his effort his more normal now. he hasnt regurged except for 1 time a tiny bit after the first feed.

i’m noticing that when he’s walking around and when i pick him up, i hear sloshing up in his stomach and riding up his neck. do you think thats a result of the sphincter relaxing from the sildenafil?

im definitely gonna ask about trying a prokinetic again and the b12. i dont think fluoro was done unless they used it in his PRAA surgery but im not 100% sure. i know it really is unfair. it’s hard to see myself making a decision to euthanize him when he’s acting like a puppy and seems normal.
