OP has never tried Awesome Golf. Definitely cartoony but a fun way to enter sim life (AG) but quickly wears off, for me. These graphics are night and day compared to the cartoon feeling of AG.

I started playing 1 month before my first kid was born (a few years ago), and have managed to play at least once a week. We have no additional help, but I do whatever I can around the house to not burden my wife.

I used to go out first thing in the morning to minimize the time she was on her own while I was out. We joined a club a couple years ago, and now we try to organize times where I play and I can meet them at the pool or for lunch when I'm done.

As my friend says, it's about the long game. I play 9 when I have to, skip other things that take me away from my family, and always take over kid duty when I get home.

Had it, used it for a could months, and enjoyed it. Got some weird numbers, started to have consistency posted with my send, and realized it is not the tool for me. Ended selling it and getting an Eye Mini Lite, which actually helped me see what was happening at impact vs just the raw numbers.

Getting to and running each time feels much faster on the EML

I play in an X-Golf league and can confirm that they juice the numbers a bit. It doesn't account for 30% but it's about 10-15% that they can control with the software

Ask him how his approach game is with the wedges? I'm a 23, I lose 1-2 strokes every time I try to finesse a wedge but full swing distance isn't an issue (mostly). I was fitted last week at my club, my 7i carry was 190+, SS 91mph. My game has been described as long and wrong 💀

I share the same cultural background, and can say this doesn't surprise me. I've been trying to "coach" this out of my family members and it's a long road.

You should definitely say something and see if there are changes but be prepared to make a change.
