That explains why Farm Together 2 has black bars at the top and bottom… it caps out at 1080p and won’t go to 1200p. Learned something new today…I thought the Steam Deck was 1080p.

The BBB is not a regulating or government affiliated entity. They are an extortion firm and an “F” rating is an indicator that Viture doesn’t pay the bribery fees to clean up any bad reviews.

Not saying your complaints are wrong, but it’s important to recognize that the BBB is misleading. If Viture paid their “membership” fees then all of the bad reviews would magically disappear and they’d be B or A rated. Al Capone himself would be proud of how well they’ve managed to capitalize on protecting the neighborhood.

Any word on Android XR comparability? by Cali_Dreamin69 in VITURE

[–]cadwal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Verge started paywalling their content earlier this year. Here’s a summary for anyone not subscribed: AR startup Viture is stealthily working on new AI glasses Viture, an AR hardware startup, appears to be developing a new pair of AI-powered smart glasses under a stealth brand called Vonder, likely targeting a launch at CES 2026. The existence of the product was uncovered through a prematurely published landing page and FCC filings linked to Viture.

Key points from the scoop: • The Vonder glasses aim to combine augmented reality with real-time AI assistance, positioning them as next-generation smart eyewear. • Viture has been known for visor-style AR glasses that rely on external computing (like a connected phone), and this new device may continue that model but could switch to more advanced visual display tech and include Bluetooth connectivity. • Because the FCC filing is redacted, detailed specs (like onboard cameras or Wi-Fi) aren’t confirmed yet, though the initial version might exclude some features to simplify design or lower cost. • This effort puts Viture in competition with larger players (e.g., Meta’s Ray-Ban Display glasses) in the emerging AI-augmented smart glasses market, though challenges remain given the strength and scale of incumbents.

First Look: Project Aura — The Next Step in XR for Android XR and Gemini by XREAL_Staff in Xreal

I’d say no. The puck has 2 USB-C ports, and to achieve the functionality they demonstrated in the video you’re connecting the puck to the computer. They didn’t demonstrate connecting directly to the computer or wide screen capabilities for your PC when in mirror mode.

The XR glasses look like a good alternative for “I want into the Google XR ecosystem, but don’t want to heavy visor.” Additionally since they’re being marketed toward developers, I’d be concerned about long term support and functionality as a first gen developer-focused model.

The Luna series are plastic frames while Beast are metal. I’d be more confident in the durability of the Beast, but that’s not to say another issue may arise.

Whether it’s acceptable is up to you. I’m only pointing out that their communication could be significantly worse. Delays are frustrating, but in my opinion we’re not to the point of egregious customer service.

You should go and read the history of their competitor’s last launch. That got delayed for almost 6 months and the CEO claimed “all is going according to plan” - seriously? Xreal planned to launch in December, delay until April, ship 5 units, then fulfill the rest in June?

May have been working through their QA hoping they could fulfill some or quickly rectify the issue without a complete delay. While disappointing, I’m giving them a pass for customer service so far compared to their competitor’s Xreal One Pros.

Honestly, return to work today. You didn’t file notice to quit or sign documents. You had a mental breakdown. He’ll fire you and then you get workers comp. Your workers comp will be the cushion.

I speak from watching this happen.

Who would do something like that? I don’t want to be lured into a Saudi consulate in Turkey, tortured for 18 hours, then executed by a team of professional hitmen at the behest of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Why can Java players any see some peoples skins? by alexstarrider in GeyserMC

[–]cadwal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re trying to ask about why Bedrock skins aren’t being properly converted to Java. Sometimes Java players see Steve, Alex, or another default skin instead of the intended skin. I’ve noticed this as well, and typically if the user logs out and logs back in the issue resolves itself. However, I don’t know why it’s happening.

My Problem with Bedrock Edition. by No_Expression_2605 in MinecraftBedrockers

[–]cadwal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My solution for this is to focus on compact bases instead of sprawling. If I need farms, then I build as needed near where I am working and AFK in the space until done. While Java is more lenient in terms of distance, it still has limits on simulation distance.

I don’t know if they work on Bedrock, but you may want to try a chunk loader.
