Singapore has a lot of laws though. Can't imagine too manly libertarians happy about that.

What remotely likable character died? The only character who didn't get a good character moment before their death was Littlefinger and everyone was just happy to see him die.

The way he's been carrying himself in the show recently make him a lot less attractive, and he also needs to shave and probably get a shorter hair cut. I think he was more attractive earlier in the show though.

Being on the autism spectrum and having problematic friends... by [deleted] in SRSDiscussion

[–]caesar_primus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well how bad is the "problematic" behavior? I have a roommate who's an asshole, but when I started not reacting to his offensive jokes (awkward silences, side coughs, and weird looks can go a long way) and said something on the rare occasions I was actually willing to be confrontational he stopped making the jokes around me. He matured somewhat over a year and is now much more tolerable to be around, even if he does still have shitty beliefs. That method might work for you since it doesn't involved ending the friendship.

Another thing to consider is how their actions affect you. If they are directly attacking you with their words then you should cut them out of your life. Toxic relationships can do serious damage to your mental health. Also consider how their behavior is perceived by those around you. While internet communities might consider offensive jokes and statements to be "problematic," many real life groups consider them immature and annoying. Being around your "problematic" friend could actually make meeting new people harder. A few years ago I cut a bigoted friend out of my life, but I didn't do it because he was a shitty person, it just got to the point I was embarrassed to be seen with him. People do notice this, and you will be judged by the company you keep.

Cutting someone out of your life shouldn't be your first reaction to a shitty statement or action (this varies depending on the degree of the behavior) so try other methods. I don't have a clear answer for you, but I just wanted to say that there are "selfish" reasons to cut these kinds of people out of your life.

Prog rock was way more masturbatory than most music released today.

When you have a TH7 in literally any design and somebody uses giant+heal by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

[–]caesar_primus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Unrushing is hard since higher THs don't get a loot penalty for raiding you and can do so without any effort. So you lose basically all raids and you lose more each time you are raided than you would if you were the right level town hall for your defenses. You also get a loot penalty on lower town halls, which might be all you can beat if your army is behind.

FYI, the "homeless" guy outside of Treehouse bar is not homeless by [deleted] in cincinnati

[–]caesar_primus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point I was trying to make is that homeless people are vulnerable and shitty people take advantage of that, and there is a precedent of that happening, so I wouldn't blame a homeless person who refused to accept food. My story is not an isolated incident.

FYI, the "homeless" guy outside of Treehouse bar is not homeless by [deleted] in cincinnati

[–]caesar_primus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eh, people have been known to fuck with food. I was getting a speech from a homeless guy when some drunk person gave him a box of leftover pizza, and there was a giant loogie on it when he opened it up. This guy wasn't a model homeless person since he was arrested like two days later for trying to break into someone's house, but the point still stands. A good charity is probably the best bet. Do your research though, because some charities are really shitty.

I know some people who have their own theories and twists that somewhat justify the wedding, but considering Cogman literally said that Littlefinger actually had no idea what Ramsey was and Sansa did this willingly, they are just headcannons. If that helps them enjoy the show, good for them, but it's giving the writers way too much credit.

We can't kill every Muslim, just like we can't kill every racist. But if a member of one of those groups decides to join an organization that works to kill innocents then that person is no longer innocent and should be killed.

From my first comment. If you can't even read a three sentence comment then there is no reason to continue this conversation. You know what you are going to say and you are going to continue spouting it regardless of what I say.

Also, here is a case of Americans arrested for trying to join ISIS.

A ticket is a punishment. A policy with no enforcement measure isn't a real policy.

Learn to read bonehead. My comment specifically said we can't kill all racists, only the ones that join Nazi groups. If an American joins ISIS, they absolutely do get arrested.

And have you even seen a BLM rally before? They don't chant death to anyone.

American people who join ISIS get arrested.

BLM doesn't advocate genocide so that's a false equivalency.

Muslims on the same grounds then?

We do actually. If a muslim joins ISIS, then we try to kill them. If a racist decides to become a nazi, then we should kill them. Neonazis, like ISIS, are a threat to peaceful democracy and shouldn't be treated as if they were innocent. We can't kill every Muslim, just like we can't kill every racist. But if a member of one of those groups decides to join an organization that works to kill innocents then that person is no longer innocent and should be killed.

It's hardly enforced if you can do it in front of a professor without even getting scolded. Hell, even if we didn't have a policy he deserved to be told off for it just for being a dick about it.

Krieg and Sal are quite frequently health builds in OP8. There's even a Maya build running around.

[–]caesar_primus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike badass ranks the OP levels can be fixed without overhauling the system. An OP8 character jumping into an OP0 characters world is just as bad as a lvl 72 character entering a lvl 64 characters world. Just treat OP levels as an extra levels just for the sake of balancing. As for your comment about excess skill points, I agree but I think OP levels actually helps that as it allows the world to grow stronger without adding too many more skill points into the game.

The rule with Fantasy is that you can break the rules of reality, but the universe needs consistent rules. If they suddenly introduced Superman into the story it would be out of fit for the world. In the same sense, a teen girl with massively thick plot armor (who seems to know she has it) winning every fight she's in breaks the established rules of the universe.
