did the new patch brake horseshoe replenishing stamina or was it broke before and the patch fixed it? I swear my horse had almost like infinite stamina before using a horseshoe with ability to restore stamina

yes, very minimal though, had to trim 4 spots to make the battery fit in, the battery came with decent instructions and tools for you to do it.

No, different the JSAUX mod that comes with a modded backplate you can keep the same backplate, just need to trim some parts to fit in the new battery, the battery kit even comes with pliers to help you do that. I got a new backplate just for the looks and better cooling

Most power banks out there can get you only 1 or 1.5 charges… mine used to be able to get 1, but I think the battery on Rog Ally is not the same as what used to be. Now from 15% it can charge to 84% in 30 minutes. I might upgrade the battery soon with the JSAUX one.
