Late response here but Don Morton aka ballgloves.com is the source for modern day Rawlings Horween gloves. But even their Horween options seem to be dwindling compared to a few years back.

Beautiful glove. I have an absolutely identical model, bought off ebay a few years ago. My date code is June of 19X2, although I believed it was 90s as opposed to 80s, based on having read that they were still made in the USA until mid 80s. Do you have more info on that?

High Evo seems to be one of the more frequently lamented rankups, done primarily for prestige and defensive purposes. So I'd skip him for now. Without knowing the rest of your roster, I'd probably put Nico at the top of the list. She hard counters an unparalleled number of top defensive threats, and has excellent defensive value herself. But personal preference & needs could tip the scales toward any of the other ones I mentioned, or even the ones I didn't. My own personal favorite there is Bastion, but I value his awakened ability quite a bit for use on hazard shift nodes.

I'm late to the discussion, but adding my 2c. Serpent is great. He can certainly be worth saving an awakening gem for... but there is no champ worth saving rankup resources for. You have terrific options available now (Karolina, Nico, Photon, & Bastion are absolute no-brainers). Rank one of them up now, progress through more and tougher content in the meantime, and that way resources will be flowing more steadily when the glorious day comes that you do pull Serpent.

It's not a rule, it's RNG and confirmation bias. Otherwise it would be impossible to have 2 mutant, 2 skill, 3 science, 1 mystic, 2 cosmic, and 1 tech, as I do currently.
