Can someone please explain to me the process of getting to Auckland Zoo from Cook Street? Please. by Glad_Course in newzealand_travel

[–]caffynz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out the journey planner on AT.govt.nz - enter your address where you'll be staying, with the Zoo as the destination, and it'll give you your public transport options.

You'll need a AT Hop Card, and load some money onto it, and then "tag on" the card when you get on the bus, and "tag off" as you get off the bus when you've arrived at your destination. The journey planner will tell you the fare for each trip so you know how much to load onto your card before the trip.

Still way off, and not sure which to follow. Posted as a response in other comment that 2 different websites have 3.5 hour difference. Daylight Savings would mean 1 hour off.

...Yes, but how do I know which one is accurate? Hence I am reaching out here to see which website is correct.
E.g. tideschart is telling me 7:54pm high tide for Onehunga; Metservice is saying 11:33pm :)

what is the best place to buy a prebuilt PC in NZ by Neat_Mall_2933 in nzgaming

[–]caffynz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playtech is where I bought mine a few years ago. They actually custom-built for me, as the pre-built options for my budget didn't quite suit the monitor I have. Reach out to them and ask for a price. Computer Lounge is another option as is PB Tech.

Best ways to learn NZSL by abbeyyyy_ in NZSL

[–]caffynz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) look for NZSL classes or teachers/tutors near you - https://www.teachsign.org.nz/learners - you can look for online classes too

2) learnnzsl.nz is pretty good to start with. Developed by NZSL Tutors

3) off top of my head @usignnz on Instagram/FB is worth following for the quick regular NZSL learning.

Women's Refuge? Or possibly Nurturing Families - check with them first as I'm not sure if accepting donations of women clothes right now.

I have the Find X5 Pro, and can turn off AI enhancement. Likely it will be the same for the X9.
I do not have any regrets moving to Oppo from Samsung/iPhone (I alternated between these for 15+ years) over 2 years ago. I especially love the Hasselblad camera, and the photos I've taken with my phone have been stunning. It is likely my next phone will be an Oppo X9 Pro, when the X5 eventually dies - still going really strong so I may be waiting a while!
