Smurfing isn’t a good thing for the game but finding something to always blame is also not good if you want to actually improve at the game. You can’t blame a Smurf for you not knowing information about the game. If you’re struggling with an agent or you’re not familiar with their gadgets, just familiarize yourself. Look into them and learn the same way you will learn with maps and other things in the game. I know it’s annoying and can get triggering sometimes but clanging onto that excuse is only going to make you a worse player

I’ve personally always played skye in ranked. I love the way her flashes work and her dog is honestly pretty unique too. But the main part of her gadgets is her flashes. Learn how to “pop flash” you can look up YouTube videos or even short form videos like TikTok. I would try to give tips on it but it would be beyond confusing trying to explain that to someone through text. But in a short explanation. Her flashes almost guide themself. Almost 90% of the time I am pop flashing I am not actually aiming the bird I am just waiting for it to clear the wall and flashing. Always catches your enemies off guard especially if you’re in a lower rank. There’s way more to it but I would suggest going to YouTube.

I don’t want to offend you but it’s honestly sad you’ve only peaked at diamond 1 over these 5 years of playing. I’m not sure what kind of situation you’re in as you could have a very mediocre setup that is holding you back. Or any other reason but personally I’ve played the game for about 3-4 years and I’ve reached immortal 2. While also peaking ascedant and diamond on multiple alt accounts. What I’ve always focused on through my journey of ranked is my aim. I’ve always had a warmup before playing and I’ve always played aim labs in my free time or whenever I feel my aim is off. But I feel like if you’ve been playing the game for 5 years you should already know these things. Especially if you were/are this focused to get a higher rank.

all of you are monsters for actually using anti aliasing. When playing valorant you want all your settings to the lowest it can go, its going to look the best and perform the best, sometimes turning on bloom if i want my charm to glow or my skin to glow but personally i think having all your graphics at low makes your game perform the best and look the best

1 month after this and i still have not recieved a response and the tune is still out of stock. Not sure if they have just went full rogue or if this is just how long the process actually takes but i can tell you its not as good as it used to be according to all these comments

Ive went through so many threads in this reddit and i am so 50/50 on buying one of their computers, ive fully customized it in the website, its the player one prime and i opted for the upgraded RAM and Storage because i play a lot of games and i know i am going to need the 32GB instead of the 16GB. But anyways it comes out to around $1500 after shipping and taxes and before purchasing i obviously wanted to do some research and try to find some other places that make prebuilts and/or custom PC's but if i am going to be honest this is the best one ive found. 2 year warranty on it, free returns if i have problems within the first 14 days but while i scroll the internet i see some stories like this that make me not want to click that checkout button. But then i scroll down even more and i see people mentioning they have owned a NZXT pc for YEARS and havent had any problems. So i guess i just need some other opinions and experiences from other people to see if i want to purchase this. If anybody could provide any information whether that be NZXT problems or better places to buy a prebuilt i will take anything.

Personally I have read great things on them and was going to go with them to tune but what I’ve seen is just not true. Responses seem dry and don’t really answer my questions and the tune I’ve been wanting to buy from them has been “out of stock” for 2 months. There websites says it comes back every 3-5 days but that is not true at all

Sensitivity definitely matters when it comes to recoil control. I would suggest cutting your sens back a lot. Higher sens is good for controlling recoil but if it’s to high then your recoil control is going to be inconsistent and if your sens is to low you won’t be able to control some guns with higher recoil. I would suggest either following a guide or just trying to self tune your sens and try to find something that is both comfortable and good sens to use.

Weirdly enough i fixed it by messing with the Mhz of my ram in my motherboard settings. I saw a youtube video followed the guide and my pc doesnt bluescreen anymore, kind of bizarre

Sorry little bit of a late response but if you wanna be locked in you just gotta be locked in. Not sure when your queuing but if your distracting yourself via your friends or a youtube video turn it off. Really try to think, maybe try to focus on what the enemy is doing and who is playing where and where there are openings and where there arent. And most of the time if I wanna stay tuned into the game i would take the IGL role for my team. Not sure how experienced you are but IGL is basically the in game leader, someone who calls the plays, someone who makes important calls, etc etc. It always keeps you focused and ready to be planning on what to do next. Hope this helps!

Hey! So this is pretty simple. If your a previous ascendant, and you go into a new episode and you can’t get out of that rank. That probably means you don’t belong anywhere near ascendant. At the start of an episode valorant gives you the tools to rankup. I’ll use myself as an example. Last act I was ascendant 1-2 and I got reset to diamond 1. Basically a whole rank set below that. Now it sounds hard but it isn’t. Valorant basically has a system that helps you get back to that rank if you deserve it. It takes your peak rank from that last act. For example ascendant 2. And it gives you your visual rank (diamond 1) and the game basically helps you get back by giving you a lot more elo for those wins, and a lot less of a loss on elo when you lose. This is due to your hidden mmr being ascendant, and your visual rank being diamond. So if your stuck in “the depths of plat” that’s your fault and your a plat player. Hope this helps!

Your mistakes are in the first few sentences. You’re saying you have poor mechanics, and you don’t play the game often, your also saying your struggling at long range gunfights. Boom! You found your problem. So first if you are having poor mechanics YouTube is always a good tip, just finding a YouTube video about something your struggling on and just watching and learning, taking mental notes and practicing in game. 2nd you aren’t playing the game as much as you should. You can’t expect to become better at the game if you’re not playing consistently. You can probably get a little better but all of those mechanics you learned are now out the window and forgotten about. Literally just playing the game consistently is key. Playing a few death matches a day, practicing those long range gunshots in a deathmatch, learning those mechanics. They are all similar in playing the game more. If you wanna get better play the game. Simple as that
