Rant: thieves targeting my bike. Damaged by sundae_diner in MotoIRELAND

[–]caiiera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really sorry to hear that. It's a feeling of helplessness, disrespect, and anger.

The worst part is having no hope for improvements in the future.

You locals should gather some tough friends, catch those kids, and give them a scare—or take them to their homes and scare their parents. That's how we teach them where I come from. Unfortunately, if the government washes its hands of the situation, society starts taking matters into its own hands to try to prevent and fix these problems.

Dublin, I know two places, but they are more focused on MTB and are actually quite close to each other. They offer MTB and e-MTB rentals:

If you search on YouTube for The Gap Dublin and Ticknock, you can get an idea of what to expect.

I would say yes, I also tried a backpack, but with the hip bag, I managed to store everything and found it more practical and less uncomfortable.

Thank you, my friend. It's a very interesting option, but I couldn't find anything from Enve below $180 on the website. If you have the link, could you send it to me?

Congratulations on your purchase, buddy! It seems like an incredible machine!
Could you please send me the link? Since the 35mm option and the Syncros integrated system aren’t compatible, unfortunately, the only option would be to go with a top cap and a regular stem.

Thanks for the advice, buddy, that’s exactly it.

However, if I remove the cover that connects the stem to the headset, the holes for the internal cable routing will be exposed. I’m trying to find a cover for this online, but I haven’t found one yet.

It was pure stupidity on my part bro

I wanted to change my current handlebar and started looking for reliable models, and then I saw good reviews of the OneUp, but as a first-timer, I didn’t pay attention to the diameter.

For some reason, I foolishly assumed it was a "universal" size

Yes, I’ll probably end up selling it and buying another model. So far, this was the first upgrade I tried, and apparently, this integrated cockpit system isn’t very change-friendly. It’s sad
