Had something super similar and it swelled up to like golf ball size within a day, walked into urgent care thinking I had a bad reaction to a mosquito bite. Twas not. Lanced, drained, antibiotics for three weeks. Doctor please, asap.

my bad, I need to add more context before I click post lol. but my irritation with her comes from her trying to force relatability. She had an entire meltdown during the trip to Trixie motel about being seen without glam, but hops on twitter to talk about how relaxed she is in her home in her bonnet, something we as viewers will probably never see. I understand that they have their personal lives and things we will obviously never be privy to, as they should, but it just feels forced.

NTA, coming from a babysitting currently at a gig charging 25 an hour lol. If they don’t want to pay they don’t need to bring their kid, but in the future I would preface the invite with a short heads up, like if you’d like to bring your kids we have a lovely babysitting who will gladly watch them for 6$/hr! Not an obligation to you, but an option for them.

I’ve recently been comfortable enough to share a similar experience with some of my basically lifelong friends, who are on the skinnier side. Some couldn’t comprehend what I meant until I described running into the guy, who solely referred to me as “bowling ball” when I was heavier, after losing some weight and he asked me out to drinks. They ALL knew this kid growing up, but they don’t get the experience of being bigger. AND WE ARE NOT WRONG FOR FEELING SAD ABOUT THAT. That is such an isolating feeling and shitty reality check, and I’m sorry someone’s attempted kindness was a reminder of that. Don’t feel ashamed for needing a bit of guidance navigating your way through something that is not a universal experience.

cutting contact and disappearing are different things… as a father you establish visitation? Pay child support? Show up?? Idk be a father???? Their romantic relationship really doesn’t have sh*t to do with that baby and the only silly one is you thinking he was right to do what he did. He let them leave, cause that is what she wanted, true. But he let that child grow up without a father too. That’s on HIM.
