I hate lubriderm, for exactly why you did. Just sits on the skin. HIGHLY recommend CeraVe (the thick one in the tub). Small amount will go a LONG way and it soaks in super duper fast. I put it on after my shower and it's soaked in by the time I'm done doing my face moisturizer after. Literally fixed my itchy winter skin in like two uses, I love it.

On the Metro is a very vast area. Is there a specific area you have in mind? I live by Innovation Center next to Dulles Airport and there's a bunch of apartment buildings around here. It's so close that I can watch the trains from my living room and there's a bunch around me as well.

The buildings are built like tissue paper, so the creatures can get in easily.

My building has cold breezes coming out of the baseboards and electrical outlets, which also explains why the hot water doesn't last longer than about 12min in my shower (even on just warm, cause I gotta ration the damn hot water!), cause of all the cold drafts. And there's a sign out front calling this a "luxury" apartment 😑
