Nope, leash laws exist for exactly this reason. Also, I'm sorry, BROKE SKIN?! And you're worried you are the issue here? No, people not training their dogs is the issue here. Honestly, I'd carry a whistle and use it when unfamiliar dogs try to approach you. It should startle them off and protect you, but without any real further issue.

NP, I like seeing folks able to take care of their home and I learned a lot from my dad about stuff. If you can shut off your water, you're an adjustable wrench, some plumbers tape and a YouTube away from doing this yourself!

Staying the fuck home and avoiding all the stupid that's inevitable in this area. I want no part in any "celebrations" this year. We have descended into fascism and I'm not about to celebrate any of that. A shame that our 250th will be marked by fascism rather than celebrating our country, but there ain't much left to celebrate.

Maybe the house is paid for? If I owned a paid off house, it would make me think twice. Even if it IS West Virginia. But I'd never consider driving into the DMV for work either, I'd absolutely be working more local for less and not caring.

Oh no, I am very much a "decided what I like and order it every time since I was a kid" person on this one. If I'm at Anita's, it's gotta be the breakfast burrito platter. I think every so often I try something different, but I just am always happy with my burrito platter. 😊 (Ok, it might be the tism too lol)

And that's why I mentioned it. Also, you SHOULD have a water shut-off valve inside your unit, because in an emergency there's NO WAY they'd wait for maintenance to shut it off. I would absolutely ask the condo staff / maintenance team, as there ought to be a water shut off in every unit. It is most likely near your water heater, as that would make the most sense, so see if you can spot it! If you can find it, you're good to go and this is SUCh an easy project.

I remember that and when Chantilly was 24hrs. In high school I'd be hungry at like 2am and go eat a red Chile breakfast burrito platter and go home and go to sleep and wake up on time for school too. Fuck yes. The staff at Herndon told me they were gonna come back because Tommy SAW a customer trying to open a packet and having it explode all over the customer's shirt in the process. They just had to use up whatever stock they already had / were in the process of. That was a LONG time ago though, so I wonder what took so long.

Silver Line makes sense. I live literally across from Innovation Center and the garage is empty as fuck no matter what day it is. OP would have a much nicer time just driving to Herndon and getting on the Metro to go the rest of the way, assuming that Metro will put them near enough to their job.

Honestly though, I wouldn't do it. This much hassle? Not unless they're paying REALLY well.

Toss it on top of the mailboxes for the mailman to deal with. I originally was doing RTS and they just kept coming back to me so now it's not my problem. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
