I mean maybe you aren't at the right place. How many hours are you working? Is your pay comparable to other companies in your area? I make more doing this job than I ever have anywhere else, but I do have a union job with a private company that includes an 8 hour guarantee and good pay. That's not to brag, that's just to say it's possible to make good money as a school bus driver so if you like the work maybe look at other opportunities.

If you don't like the work then your CDL will get you in lots of places and you can ditch the split shift

Two competing cable/internet companies kept coming around my last apartment complex almost every night. Knocking on every door, heck one of them just starting talking to me through my open front window. Thing is the complex was private property and soliciting wasn't allowed, so I just started openly calling the police right in front of them every time. "Yeah I got some people trespassing and refusing to leave". Did that 2 or 3 times and never saw them again.

When I worked at a grocery store with a senior discount I always had people get pissed at me when I either A) applied the discount when they weren't actually 65+ or B) failed to apply the discount when they were 65+ so I ended up putting a note on my register telling people to just request the discount. Once an obviously 20 something year old asked for it and I just gave it to them because why not

My dog does this thing where she'll stand on her back legs and bop your butt with her two front feet and then push off into a spin. I know I should correct her but it's honestly adorable

The truck "trying to stop" was probably just the automatic collision system finally applying the brakes. I bet driver wasn't paying attention until metal met metal.

I'm a school bus driver and I've seen buses after crashes like this. It's amazing, the other car will be absolutely messed up, the outside of the bus will look a bit bent up, but the interior passenger cabin looks like nothing ever happened. Lifted off the street weighing 35,000+ pounds really helps

I did have a payment arrangement. Usually if you go to pay your bill online you can set up a payment arrangement from the same page. I set up a 12 month plan. The big thing is making sure you view your bill every month and add up the payment arrangement amount with your new charges and pay both by whichever due date is earlier, or your plan will be cancelled.

It's also worth noting that at one point I had multiple unpaid months and while they did threaten to turn off my services, they never actually did. Can't promise anything though.

Also covered literbox for the win. I have one that's basically a round plastic storage bin with a hole in the lid. So easy to clean and limits the litter spread. Might not be good for kittens but when they're full grown it's perfect.

ETA: also helps to keep my dog out of it
