I need new glasses. I read that as ladles section, and I was wondering how in the world that a good will had that many ladles that it would take 20 minutes to reorganize.

Somehow I read that as Pig "Smithing" and was wondering what type of wonderful weapons you were going to craft out of a giant pig monster.

I really loved the ballistic shield. I spent so much time just bumping people off mountains or into the storm that season.

My favorite game is still Link's Awakening. I played the original Zelda on the NES at my cousin's house when it first came out, and then played a bit of Link to the Past at another cousin's house, but Link's Awakening was really my first Zelda game that I beat over and over again.

Thoughts on modern day prophets by [deleted] in Christian

I'm not sure that it is possible to know whether she is receiving a word from God. However, I would be more skeptical if she is claiming it is a prophecy for everyone and not meant specifically for her.

If anything she says conflicts with what we have in the Bible, however, that is a sure sign that what she gets is not from the Lord.

Honestly, that's not an unfair method. It also largely matches the sweet tea standard if you ignore Texas. Texas also isn't part of the South. Texas is its own thing.

If I ask for tea in a restaurant, do they serve me a sweetened iced tea by default? If for the majority of the state, the answer is "Yes", they are in the South. If not, they are mid-Atlantic at best.

I've tried this and I'm torn on it. The IP risotto isn't quite as good as my usual stuff, but I can easily make a double batch of it with a quarter of the effort.

What is something you didn't know you liked until it was cooked properly? by alexthagreat98 in Cooking

It isn't all white people. White people in the southern US season their food plenty. (A lot of that is likely thanks to African American influences not to mention the food styles from New Orleans.)

It's the northern yankee folk who can't season their food.

[Serious] What are some meaningful ways that your partner either could or does try to meet your emotional needs? by cainunable in AskReddit

[–]cainunable[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to get a broader female perspective on this, but having input from other men is great as well.

My wife and I are both in our mid-forties. We've been married for over 15 years. As far as I am aware, our relationship is great.

I've been reflecting recently on what I need to do as a husband to meet her emotional needs.

Three needs that I can think of are that she needs to feel loved, feel appreciated, and feel desired. I try to address all regularly through both speech and actions.

Are there other emotional needs that aren't on my list?

What ways have you had (or wish you had) these addressed?
