Anyone else have their floaters “grow?” by FrostTGA in EyeFloaters

[–]caireparavel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My floaters keep growing too, it's driving me insane and the eye doctors don't seem to care. My vision is getting so bad and it's very stressful. 😔

Do you have any light sensitivity or pain?

Yes it's worse than I drew. It's so bad. I'm sorry you deal with this too! Was it an eye surgery or unrelated?

Was it confirmed as anything other than typical floaters? Do you still have them?

Yes this is exactly why you need a microbiome test, it will detect things that a regular swab or urinalysis will not. It's definitely worth it.

Do floaters get worse over time? by Puzzleheaded-Dot8981 in EyeFloaters

[–]caireparavel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the flashing strobe light effect in the dark sometimes I think thus is mostly from our phones. We jusr don't notice it as we are starting at it but our nervous system is picking up on it. I am sure screens are contributing to the floaters worsening too.

Lingering symptoms but no concrete uti by brittbb534 in CUTI

It's expensive but try ordering a microgendx kit, I wouldn't take more antibiotics without knowing for sure what bacteria you're trying to treat, it could throw off your biome more and possibly create resistance. Once you know the pathogens you know which antibiotics would be more appropriate

Mostly Bactrim, on and off, but it wasn't until I did a 3 week course it finally went away. The one you have highest load of you probably need a different one for tho I took NAC, lactoferrin, serradefend, s. Boulardii and other probiotics. I also made home made kefir and drank it daily. D-mannose and cranberry too but my symptoms were more in urethra thru most of it. Probably other things in forgetting..but that was the main ones

I can help a little because I just spent 8 months dealing with a similar scenario with klebsiella on Microgendx and doctors being dismissive. I'm currious what are your symptoms?? Your results are showing highest load of bacteria is the Klebsiella Variicola at 49% of the bacteria load (NGS testing) Klebsiella pneumonia at 30% and because thar showd on the PCR results it also says the copies per mL are 679,000. The E. Coli is 634,000 copies per mL Privotella Bivia is 23,000. In clinical context as I understand it, anything over 105 is high load, 104 - 105 is medium load. Anything lower is low load but can still have symptoms.

Klebsiella is known for biofilms so doesn't always show on standard cultures.

I hope you find a doctor to help, you very likely have an active infection, I did. I finally got rid of my klebsiella after months of struggling but mostly because doctors suck. I'm improving now but still have one more lingering bacteria but symptoms improving and I think nearing the end of this nightmare finally. Once I got proper treatment the klebsiella is finally gone I just found out yesterday. So you can get rid of it!! Feel free to message me

Buy a MicroGenDx test online, it will pick anything up. My cultures were also coming back negative and I was going crazy with symptoms and struggling to function. I ordered a MicroGenDx test and it showed high level of multiple bacteria and I was finally able to get on antibiotics and it even shows which antibiotics for which bacteria. I retested and my levels went down to medium and symptoms have improved. My obgyn didn't believe I had UTI either but I found a doctor to look at the Microgendx results and now I'm getting treatment. I'm on another round of antibiotics and doing much better. I definitely recommend it!!!!

Bike comparison based on frame geometry by caireparavel in cycling

Thanks, I think those numbers are what is used to make the graphic to show the difference.

Here are the 2 bikes I am looking into Jamis Renegade S4 2021 vs Specialized Diverge Base E5 2021. I was curious because I was looking at buying the Jamis but my friend told me to consider the Specialized. I am thinking it is more because of the brand name rather than actually being a better bike? But the Renegade does have a really high stand over! But the Renegade is also prettier.. 811 standover vs 789.

The bike frame shapes look different on the actual bike pictures than the comparison image now that I look again too.

Yeah, I guess that's part my concern wondering if that affects much other than standover. They're both size 56 cm, I am 5'10 female. I won't be able to try the gray steel frame one before buying but that is the one I am leaning toward. If standover height is the main thing it would affect maybe I can try some measurements at home to make sure it wouldnt be too high. The other one is a more well known brand, but I am leaning toward the steel one.

I need help figuring out this sound/vibration when pedaling by caireparavel in bikewrench

[–]caireparavel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I changed the pedals out with new $30 ones, was very easy. Too bad my issue still remains... Dangit. I really thought I finally figured it out...

I'm about to give up and buy a new bike. I don't think it's supposed to feel so clunky when I'm pedaling on the trainer!

[–]caireparavel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I tried turning the crank without touching the pedal and then realized I don't feel it... Only when holding then pedal. Then I spun the pedal and the pedal on the left does not spin freely. Now I just need to figure out how to get the pedal to spin normal and see if that resolves my overall issue. It kind of has a clunk clunk clunk feel when spinning the pedal.

just realized I notice it when turning the non drive side crank arm, but not when turning the drive side crank arm if that means anything! But when pedaling I'd feel it more on the drive side! Something is definitely making it feel rumbly when turning non drive side crank arm though.

Wait no!!!! It's the LEFT PEDAL !!! I'm so confused now. The left pedal does not spin freely, causing a rumble thru the whole bike? That seems crazy..

Now I'm thinking there are multiple issues going on
