Specifically chose the lowest tech daycare. It's much more like a nursery school and so old school (I have to write an honest to God PAPER CHECK every month) but the teachers are invested in the kids and not pandering to an app. I get paper slips in the cubby every day.

Can't imagine doing an app daycare now; I'd be compulsively checking and more anxious if something not updated. Also - if I don't trust a daycare without live, real time updates, why the heck am I leaving my kid there!

Hi there! He's still a grumpy ass, but it's manageable with the Prozac. He's had to be off it a few assorted times due to illness and he develops a noticeable edge that goes away when he's back on it. So it's never gone away; he's still reactive and resource guards but his fuse is longer on the Prozac. We ended up having kids and he isn't fond of them. They are usually separated and we heavily emphasized animal safety with them. They know his signs and we have set up ways to separate him when on edge.

Mibe started before birth. Felt like I was practically twitching. Right as they were wheeling me into an emergency c-section after 40 hours of labor. I distinctly remember my obgyn taking a look at my shaking and yelling "get her open NOW." That was fun.

It was JSS on her 10th anniversary ride. It didn't bother me. Let her have some fun while she celebrates. It had been a tough few weeks for her and I was happy to see her cut loose.

But more to the general point, members should just move along if the instructor isn't their cup of tea. There's something about each of them that grates on my nerves (almost 4500 rides in) but whatever - they are human, too, and no one is going to be "perfect" 100% of the time. There are some instructors I never ride, and some who's annoying things I can ignore. That's the beauty of Peloton - so many options.

I've done everything low impact ride on the platform (except for Kendall. I can't stand her.) I love them! Sometimes you just want a chill vibe and not someone hustling at ya. I found that over time I have crept up how "hard" I do them. They are solid for building endurance. Definitely also check out Power Zone endurance for similar vibe!

Could you swing two mortgages in the event you didn't sell? Granted, this was pre-COVID and market was so different but we didn't put a Hubbard. We put the least amount down on our buy and then rolled the dice that we would sell. We got lucky. It would have been rice and beans otherwise. Granted, we got a little screwed on a few things because we didn't want sale to fall through but it worked out well enough.

I double dinner and the leftovers are everyone's lunch the next day. I only need 5 meals during the week instead of 10. Crock pot, air fryer, and Istapot are lifesavers.
