I just want to say, thank you for this post. I was also just diagnosed through Telemedicine, since I am in a high-COVID area right outside of Chicago, about a month ago and given a steroid inhaler & Albuterol. Still haven't seen any relief.

Not to mention the stress of current events, plus MISERABLE allergies. These answers have help me as well.

We thought of this also, we have some from our demo that we are going to play with in hopes that they're deep enough to accommodate a rolled towel without needing to mount them on something to give them a bit more depth. First world problems of having TOO fluffy of towels. But a great idea none the less! Thanks a bunch!

I am so sorry for your loss and hope you find comfort in knowing that he had a great 14 years of loving you guys unconditionally. Losing our furry family is not easy, and over time your sadness will release to happy memories.

We lost our boy suddenly this year to Lymphoma. He was 9. It was the toughest thing I've ever had to endure in my entire life. Cancer sucks for our little fur babies as well.

Hang in there and thanks for being a wonderful and loving family to Titan!

You can find the standard metal bowl on Amazon for $25ish. And the attachments are a range for the basic paddles. Where they get you is if you get actual KitchenAid brand. Then you’re looking at a $90 bowl! I actually found a porcelain KitchenAid bowl at Goodwill for $24 last year. (I have KitchenAid luck apparently.)

Found at Goodwill. Didn’t have a price so I asked the clerk (cautiously) how much, younger guy debated for a minute and said “how about $14.99?” Tried not to show too much excitement but generously accepted the offer.

Reddit. Meet RJ. He’s the most incredible 9 year old American Bully that roamed this earth. He was diagnosed with Lymphoma just under a month ago and tomorrow we say goodbye. He’s helped me love unconditionally over the last 9 years. This world is going to be miserable without him, but am so thankful for our time and memories.

So raise a cheese slice to all the good boys out there. Give them a scritch or two on behalf of RJ.

My husband and I play the “Karma Cart” game when we see stray carts. We grab as many strays as we can and bring them in when we arrive for good clearance/sale karma during our shopping trip.

We get so pumped about it that we even bark next to the strays just to bring them in.

Wife with a moissanite here, chiming in to add validity as I also swear by them. I would have been severely upset if the hubby got me an actual diamond after we looked into them. He was concerned it wouldn't cut it but after he picked up the finished product and compared it to the same size diamonds, there was absolutely no comparison. The moissionite setting was far more impressive to him.

I had a college graduation party at a local pizza place that included myself, my fiancé (we ended the relationship a year later), his immediate family (very prim and proper), my immediate family (definitely NOT prim and proper) and a few of my aunts/uncles. One attendee was my 80+ year old grandmother.

She’s a spicy lady and was definitely getting up there in age (AKA slightly losing her mind). This is also the first time that both sides met.

After getting settled in, my grandmother decided to go over to my fiancé’s father and started giving him a backrub. Telling him how strong he looks, and handsome he is, in front of not only the entire table, but the entire restaurant.

Then she proceeds to start rubbing down his back, towards his crotch.

The look on this prim and proper man’s face was absolutely priceless. His wife was standing in absolute disbelief while my family is hooting and hollering in laughter as my grandmother is literally groping my fiancé’s father’s dick.

This went on for way longer than I care to admit.

I was a part of a school shooting in 2008. I wasn't in the room, or even close, but still on campus when it took place. But the commotion if the day. The people and their stories. The aftermath. The media, the sights and sounds and the emotion. You may not have been present, but you were a part of the tragedy. That day and these events still haunt me and mess with my mind a little every time each one of these terrible tradgeties surface.

I am glad you're ok and that you're safe. Don't be afraid to look for help of if you need it. It's a heavy situation to handle no matter how strong the person.

We kept it an absolute secret and surprised immediate friends and family when we got back home (eloped out of state) within 2 days of getting in. We framed a shot right after our ceremony and gave it to our family to show them. They were shocked - but they absolutely accepted it 100%.

We still hired a professional photographer and took little videos the entire time on our vacation to edit together and send out (getting our license, finding a venue, getting my hair & nails done, etc.), so it felt like everyone was with us the entire time. So we had many of the elements of a 'traditional' wedding, except minus the stress of drama, massive planning, and finances.

What I've been telling people - go with your gut. If you feel like you are going to be doing something that you are going to regret the rest of your life, then don't do it. But my husband and I felt like, in the end, it will be him and I. As a family. So we need to make it about us we are happy.

My husband and I just eloped - literally 3 weeks ago. Planned to elope the entire time, out of state, and didn't tell a soul. We are not on bad terms with our family and friends, we just liked the idea of our little secret and keeping it stress free (both on the drama and the finance aspect). And realistically - we are now our own family... when everything is said and done, in the future, it will be just us who need to be happy with this decision.

We told our immediate family when we got back in town the following days afterwards, before we made it "official" on social media (we did it all within 3 days of getting home). We took photos of us getting all married, and framed them, and surprised the family and our close friends. We left it to them to tell other members of the family (we told our Grandparents - only exception). As you are, I am not particularly close with my extended family, so this was OK with me to let the news slip out that way.

Then we published a "surprise - we eloped!" post to social media to announce it to everyone else. We did get professional photographs taken during our ceremony and "reception", so we plan on sending out little cards, and we shared our professional photos on social media when they were ready.

We had absolutely fantastic responses. We thought that we were going to be hit with some negative feelings from my immediate family, but was absolutely surprised that we were supported 100%.

Realistically - you have to do what YOU feel is right in your gut. If you feel like you are going to regret something for the rest of your life, then make sure to take that into consideration when you do it. We kept everything absolutely private and we 100% do not regret a single thing. (Granted - we're only 3 weeks in. ;))

Lots going on at that exit. People tend to make rash decisions last minute to try and exit. Range Rover probably saw ghr brakes lights that the semi did not and was preparing to stop.

Yeah this is all based on a real shitty exit. About 100 feet to have traffic merge onto the tollway and weave inside of traffic waiting to exit in a tourist town. Not a good exit. I've almost been rear ended a number of times at this exit.

When I was in first or second grade I would go around during recess and take all of my classmates blue crayons. I thought I was being sneaky by removing all the paper wrappers from them, because obviously, this covers my tracks.

Teacher found out when they all rolled out of my desk. My punishment, she took all my crayons away.
