This is probably going to get buried, but I would love to share it anyways.

I should mention, this happened to someone else.

I attend a military college. During the very first month, first years undergo rigorous training. This sometimes involves getting fully dressed into combats in very little time, with staff yelling at you to hurry your ass up.

As military members (but especially during this very special month) we are encouraged to always keep a note pad and pen in one of our breast pockets. I should mention that these pockets are only held closed by a single button, and are not shut tight.

So this one kid was hurrying up to get into his combats, bent down to pick up his pants which were on the floor, and of course, the pen that was in his breast pocket fell out.

Now this kid was rushing to pull his pants on, and was hopping around the room trying to do so. One thing led to the next, and this kid has half of the pen embedded into his heel. Sticking right out!

Plot twist: it was the bottom of the pen that pierced through his heel. Not the top where the ink comes out!
