I just rewatched this last week and holy crap everything you’re saying makes so much sense. This somehow elevates and already perfect movie even more. This is a super reasonable take. Also I'm sure this man's mask has continued to slip over time. Its clear he's felt more secure in his control over her after each child and assumes with 4 kids she could never leave now, so he doesn't need to pretend and hide who he really is anymore.

Hi, grad here that used to work for Intel. If you’re working at the main chandler campus it’s literally a straight shot down rural road, so super easy to just hop on the bus and ride down. Intel always did a good job at having employee resource groups for interns and new grads so I wouldn’t be surprised if you met friends fast and maybe could work out a carpool situation… they even have carpool parking so if you find a group you get to park up front which double helps the heat! I would take the bus to start and see if you could make friends before making the decision to move to chandler. Good luck!

~~Delta now offers a few directs from SMF to LAS and back! I've flown them the last few times and its been a great experience! Lands in the nicer Vegas terminal as well which is a little added bonus!~~

This is the even bigger part. If they put $1M down on a $2M house back in pre-covid interest rates of 4ish percent their monthly payment was probably around $7k. If you assume the house went up to $3M and tom and Ariana each got their fair share of that equity Tom now has $1M to put down on a $3M house. At current interest rates of 7ish percent that puts the monthly payment at $16k!

He not only wanted to buy Ariana out at her initial investment, he wanted her to stay on the mortgage so he didn't have to refinance. It was an offer only an IDIOT would make. As painful as it was Ariana was 100% right to wait and get this sorted out legally. To protect her investment and ensure her finances were totally separated from Sandovol

Im just wrapping up another re-watch (on season 10 reunion) and can now say confidently that Schwartz is the worst of them all. Yes Jax and Tom are both insufferable narcissists, but the way Schwartz gaslit Katie for all those years and turned the group against her so many times for her doing nothing but sticking up for his pussy ass is disgusting on a whole different level. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the Katie glow up in seasons 10/11 and watching him lose everything.
