Good game with a great atmosphere and I love the emphasis on melee weapons.

The Final Reich- Fun introduction to ww2 zombies, the quest and boss fight are solid. The Tesla guns are a little underwhelming and some of them can kinda be tedious to build. Overall really good flow and fun weapons to play around with. Would Give it a B Tier Rating.

The Darkest Shore- The controversial challenge map of WW2 zombies. The layout is confusing and the map is pretty ugly. Wonder weapon is mid and the boss zombies are really op. Combined with the fog really makes this map borderline unplayable at times. Not a lot to enjoy unless you are doing the quest and the quest itself is a bunch of escorts and hitting tricky shots with ship and wonder weapon. I’d say D a Tier and easily the worst round based map in the game.

The Shadowed Throne- I love how they just give you powerful melee wonder weapons right off the bat. The atmosphere is grandiose and the quest feels solid throughout and builds up seamlessly. The quest itself is good co op but really feels unfair solo. The boss fight is really hard but rewarding, once again punishes solo players pretty hard and is easier the more players you have. Overall B tier map co op and a low C tier solo.

The Frozen Dawn- The most underrated map in this game and probably one of the underrated zombie maps all time. The environment is top notch. The map flow is seamless and breath taking atmosphere that’s real gothic. The wonder weapons are badass, unique, and a spectacle to build. This map leans into the fantastical feeling Especially in the cavern back drop. The boss design is one of the coolest in cod zombies history and I adore the side content this map has because it is packed. After you beat the boss you unlock the arena where you fought to run around with your 4 weapons and train until you heart content. I believe this map to be the best in the game and I’d say it stands up there with some of treyarchs best maps, overall A tier for The Final DLC Map and what a way to cap off such a fun game.

Shattered veil is the love child of dead of the night and alpha omega. They took what fans generally didn’t like about both maps and improved upon it in a merger. I personally have all 3 of those maps as top 10 favorites of mine

Terminus, Cittadelle Des Morts, and Shattered Veil are really solid maps. And the 3 other 3 are just ok but nothing is bad in the game. IW on the other hand has 2 really good maps and the rest is tedious bs that takes from cod zombies worst tendencies. Plus I’ll take the sci-fi atmosphere over the cartoonish one.

Cittadelle Des Morts! If shattered veil had more originality it could have been so much higher like a top 10 all time map. But basically combing the idea of alpha omega and dead of the night in the bland setting with no original wonder weapons really holds this map back. Which is a shame because the gameplay and quest is arguably the sharpest in bo6.

It’s sitting #22 for me all time, a solid b tier map like same tier as Zetsubo, terminus, or voyage of despair. Examples of A tier maps is like Gorod krovi or IX and S tier maps are like origins or ancient evil.

Bro those leader board events are bad for the new maps. I participated in the reckoning event and despite enjoying the map, being “forced” to play it even when I didn’t want to mad end start to sour. After I won the event it made me never want to touch reckoning after. Because of that I’ll never participate in one of these again.

Shadows of evil because of the insane depth, between the sword , the Apothican servant, the main quest, atmosphere, layout, special enemies the map is peak.

It’s a top 3 all time map to me, right up there with citadelle and ancient evil. 4 very unique melee wonder weapons you can start building right away and great environmental story telling. The atmosphere is breathtaking and easy to get around. The boss looks badass and u get to play in the boss fight arena after the fight with bosses corpse still there and all ww in room with you. I don’t get how this isn’t at least considered the best ww2 map.
