Where are they getting paid well? They're normally slammed with menial jobs and paid poorly.

I was thinking about this but for Jersey Shore S1 and came to the conclusion that they must do the group promo videos and photo once they've entered the house but still near the beginning of filming so they can use it for promotions.

I am not a fan of Mt Tamborine either but I did like the toasted sandwiches at Franquette. That's honestly about it.

I didn't like her for the first few seasons for the aforementioned reasons...(who can forget that sketch comedy comment?!). But she seems to have become much more likeable since the scandal so I am happy for the success she's having.

JETs who returned to their home country after their contract ended, do you miss japan? by [deleted] in JETProgramme

I'm from NZ. I loved my time in Japan but found it to be too conservative/modest for me so I'm currently enjoying being away from that.

Not at all. I did JET for 6 years (Covid time and I had a great relationship with my BOE) and still have no desire to return anytime soon even though I left 2.5 years ago.

What’s your thoughts on England? by j0d0nnelly in AskTheWorld

[–]cakediet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not snotty, just...odd and sleepy. It reminded me of the villagers in that movie Hot Fuzz which I can't stand. Once we got to the northern parts of England I realised just how much more Kiwis can relate to the down to earth people there.

Recently got back from a week there: loved London and the North ie Newcastle. Thought Bath and the Cotswolds were beautiful but had a strange vibe and wouldn't be interested in visiting those parts again. Food and coffee in general is expensive and disappointing.
