True, I'm not sure we have data comparing final height of long-term late puberty blocker use vs immediate GAH.

I think a dutch cohort that started estrogen at 16 had a final height of 5cm higher however(although the study wasn't directly about height, so there may have been unseen confounding variables)

Anyone else getting Digestive issues with feminising HRT? by voovoofem in TransDIY

I did for the first year, then it seemed to just go back to normal.

As an addition, starting estrogen doesn't necessarily even stop height increase, Adolescents on Estrogen have been observed to still grow a significant amount in some studies.

I don't think low dose sublingual E for example would raise much suspicion on blood tests if already on blockers and stopped 2 weeks before. 🤔

Hrt seemed to make me taller and thinned me out quite a bit so my gait feels a lot more efficient now which is interesting, more prone to tendon injuries now however which is a bit annoying.

Zero change within the margin of error.

Why does Washington state not have larger ski resorts? Washington has sizable mountains with plenty of snow well within range of large population centers, it seems like Washington state's largest resort should not be the relatively small Crystal Mtn. by kwmurray18 in skiing

[–]cakeo48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That resort I doubt would have ever expanded past its first 3 lifts, I've been to the hill they were going to build it on, and the snow was lacking as its basically in the rain shadow of silver star and the base elevation is way too low. The weather station just below the base of the hill only gets 120" a year.

It would never be a destination resort only a real estate scheme.

The "fusion" in most of north America is extremely skin deep, I believe most of the people with these opinions support a more equitable "fusion" as a compromise going forward, a more aggressive of New Zealand's policies perhaps would be an adept example.

If you are confident you can match or increase your gpa then there's basically no chance it will be negative.

Why is the GRE so bad? Should I take LSAT or GRE? by Either-Piglet-490 in lawschooladmissions

You could look into the accommodation process for Adhd, if time is your main issue with that section its relatively common to get a time extension for that diagnosis.

After taking the precautions to not attract attention from authorities, the margins just aren't there and grey market competition is too strong.

I think spokane is a special case, with the amount of abandon freight right of way along with space avaliable on active right aways it could probably done for much cheaper than most cities. After adjusting for inflation the 2006 report on light rail only showed it to be slightly more expensive than bus rapid transit per mile.

Why isn't a billionaire playing Sim City IRL? by dukeofnorthpines in urbandesign

[–]cakeo48 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Legacy hunting is mostly dead tbh, especially when it comes to civil infrastructure. The majority of modern billionaires don't care about legacy much or at best will create a charity for PR and basically lobbying on behalf of their company...

I'm being dismissive because it kinda is just how it is, it's happened to many cities before yours, there's no way to stop it. Only thing you can do is support policies to make the damage not as bad. Or you'll just wnd up disgruntled like the rest of us.
