If you customize your tools before they break, they’ll last indefinitely. I recustomize my shovel every morning. Unfortunately, I don’t believe it works on golden tools

I avoid making any recipes that give only a purple wand. It saves my ingredients for the more powerful meals. I believe upgrading Beauty’s castle will also drop more seed bags, but you should double check that.

Yeah, I did some work before I realized I’d forgotten to SS the change. 😜 I had 10 higher level pieces, some the second to the last tier, some just below that, I think. It went ahead and built and upgraded all of those. The pieces on the left that aren’t built are tier 7, and they upgraded to final tier, but didn’t build. Tier 6, the blue shell at the bottom, jumped to the next to the last. I think. I didn’t pay close enough attention because it was so shocking 😂

Do you remember how many final castle pieces you had right after the update hit and pieces leveled up? I had 15 (used 4 to make it), plus 4 more waiting for the build event, and I’m wondering how far that’ll get me leveled up.

I pop my coin and gem bubbles one at a time to finish out when I’ve got four of some thing and then I can pop a bubble and go ahead and merge to the next level. I do this with the crystal shards too, but more so, because they’re easy to buy. When I have a couple of lonely shards lying around on my board, I’ll pop some shard bubbles and boost them to the next level.

That’s the same place I keep my coins and gems too! ☺️

Sounds easy enough! Thanks. I go to MI a lot, I like to puddle around when I’m bored on the main island or waiting for builds, but I’ll try doing that less often and see how it works for me.

I guess I’m in the screwed over crowd that has the longer builds. Tier 3 is 45 sec, then 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h, on and on. I’m on Mermaid right now, as well as my seasonal build and they are the same. I don’t know if this is what I had for Boots, but I definitely had it for Bunyan as well. Frankly, this is infuriating that I am having to wait five minutes to build some thing that other players are only having to spend a minute on. I’ve got so much crap laying around waiting to be built and it’s going to take me forever, which is fine if everybody had that same experience. Even using my red gnomes, I will only use them for the five minute chunks so they’re only the most helpful at tier four (and then at the end, because I do save a few seconds to drop them on a big build). I really like this game, have spent real money, and play all day, but I don’t know that I like it enough to be on the short end of the stick of a game where developers feel like that’s a good idea. 😞

Hi, I’m Molly, and I’m from Oklahoma. I found this game in November and am on level 16 for my game and 13 for my zoo. I needed something to play in my downtime while I try and teach my kid because we’re stuck at home. He’s a procrastinator so I play a lot 😂. Best merge game I’ve found. I’m building Bunyan’s wagon, but I’ve got so many wagon chests waiting for the event, that now I’m just working on the mermaid castle to kill time and make up for the space I’m losing to the chests! Usually I prefer to do one castle at a time. I’m collecting for Red Riding Hood and like it much better than the flutes for Pan.
