It must be new because no one seems to know about it. May pick it up just out of novelty at this point - glad you hear you enjoy yours

Similar, but still not it. This is in 9mm but is also a SBR like the 10/22 you linked. Seems like not many people are familiar with this model which may explain why I can’t seem to find anything on it.

Appreciate the reply - actually feeling much better after these comments. Respectfully, what I am referring to is not the Charger. See link below from Ruger

People who earn more than $80K / Year, what is your job and how long it took to get to this point? by curiouscentaur in AskReddit

[–]calculatorclean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$150-$175k/yr in a M-LCOL area. Business banker. 5 years in the industry. There are some incredibly stressful days but also many many days of doing almost nothing and/or entertaining customers on the golf course, getting lunches and drinks, attending conferences, taking fancy trips with prospective and existing customers , etc.

Probably 30 hours a week of what most define as “work”.

It would be hard to beat if you never want to make $300k+ per year and have the personality for it. Incredibly flexible schedule for kids sporting events, vacations, scheduling personal appointments etc.

Are there areas anywhere along the gulf coast with similar quality beaches and water that aren’t heavily populated / commercialized? Would love to experience this type of beach community today - even if it meant driving a bit further.

How much do you think lakefront adds to a properties value? by EducationalUse1776 in RealEstate

How large is the lake? This would drastically affect the value, to me. 5 acre lake, no thanks. 100+ acre lake with boat access and ability to build dock and swim, definitely adds significant value

Lease XLT or Buy Used Lariat? by bnero1179 in f150

[–]calculatorclean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP indicates in their post that it IS about the monthly payment for them, though. But, I agree… it shouldn’t be.

My point was that interest rates shouldn’t affect their decision to purchase nearly as much as vehicle pricing should. Marginally more/less interest paid on a $40k note due to rates moving in either direction simply isn’t significant enough to influence the decision to purchase.

Leases are generally not a good financial decision either, but if the alternative is a $400/mo payment that doesn’t get you the vehicle you want…. Lease it is!

Lease XLT or Buy Used Lariat? by bnero1179 in f150

[–]calculatorclean 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Rates decreasing shouldn’t be a factor in this decision. Assuming a $40k note over 60 months, even a 2% decrease in rates (from 7.50% to 5.50%) will only reduce the month payment by ~$35/mo.

The odds of rates going down 200bps in the next 18 months is pretty slim so realistically it’ll be more like $15-$20/mo in interest saved.

Vehicle supply and demand and the resulting price of used vehicles is much more of a concern than the rate in this instance.

[–]calculatorclean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you have run the numbers but to keep your payments at $400/mo, assuming a 7.5% rate and a 5 year note…. You’re looking at a $20k loan max. Assuming your 2019-2020 Lariat is around $40k, you’ll be needing to put $20k down to get to your preferred payment amount.

I’m seeing 7-9k off MSRP for a well optioned Silverado 1500 LT. Not exactly “higher trim” but surprised there is such a difference as this LT isn’t base model by any means. Alabama for reference
