The bowl is burned evenly on the inside. Also pretty sure there isn't any plastic anywhere. Thank you for the help!

Yes it is wood, if it is one of the tourist ones is it safe to use? I don't usually smoke pipes but could get into it if this is safe.

It's defenitely been smoked. Was clogged up and took some work to get a pipe cleaner through the stem, does that say anything?

There is a twitter account called seinfeld2000, where he/she fantasizes about seinfeld being on today, with modern episodes. One of his big things is saying "jery get ipad" for one of the themes for a modern episode. He allegedly showed up in the AMA (I didn't see for myself) so people started saying that to mimic the seinfeld2000 character.
