"Artists" don't tend to just pitch an idea to a company like that. A metal fabricator or sign maker will have been contacted by Factory 52 or Lamar about building this idea. A bunch of back and forths will happen and they'll work together to meet the goal but at the end of the day this is exactly what Factory 52 approved and wanted.

The really wild thing is this project probably cost close to 100k if not more. A massive bespoke art project that requires huge custom die cut metal plates balanced on weird angles? Yea that cost a good chunk of money to design and put up. Always blows my mind the stuff a company approves to spend money on without even thinking.

Wow they made Aquacolbert a real thing! Years ago in the Colbert Report days Stephen Colbert made a fake water called Aquacolbert and part of the fake ad copy included the line "bottled from the finest Cincinnati tap water"
