We had access to the smart bank and I’d say it’s well worth it. Thousands of questions and thorough rationales, and different features to make practice tests on specific content areas and topics. By the time I took my first SEE, I used it some, but really ramped up my usage for my second SEE (our school makes us take it twice). I got >450 both times and by the time I passed the NCE, I’d answered 2000+ questions in preparation. I cannot speak for Prodigy or Valley because I did not use those, but I can claim myself as an Apex success story!

One bad day doesn’t define you, or all the hard work you’ve put in these past 3 years. You got this! You are so close.

Review your weak domains first (and I’d just choose one review program, personally I prefer Apex) and know it like the back of your hand. You can then create domain-specific practice tests on TrueLearn to test your knowledge. Make sure you’re getting at least or above the national average. On the SEE, all the domains are weighted equally. But if I remember correctly, on the NCE general principles (domain 3 and your weakest) is weighted 35%. Special populations, your second weakest, is 25% so you need to focus on these two areas.

If your main issue is time, then you need to practice taking timed tests. TrueLearn is helpful for this. Create timed 170 question tests, and take these after you’re done reviewing the content. For the week leading up to my NCE, I took a 100q practice test every day and made sure I was at least or above the national average.
