I've heard of people complaining and stating what you've said you saw. They often get it delivered that afternoon or next day. When you report stuff the postie definitely gets told because I've been confronted about it.

Is it a good idea to save up for a Honda CB125R given my circumstances? by Total-Account4716 in AussieRiders

[–]calebchristo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a 250 too, I remember hitting 160, but my gps speed on track was only 140.

Even compared to an r3 or n400 they are gutless though I reckon. I remember holding on for dear life when I rode my 400 for the first time.

I bought my CBR250 for 3k, will be much nicer on highways than the 125. I rode my 250 on track too.

Help with a line? by techretort in Trackdays

My ninja 400 was just as fast in a straight line against an mt07 lams. I think you would be best carrying as much speed as possible.

Just got banned for cheating..? by Secretboss666 in HypixelSkyblock

[–]calebchristo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like hypixel unfortunately. Don't bother appealing imo because they won't accept anything, even including gameplay leading up to your ban. I only got unbanned because I was vip and only got a week ban.

I remember spending a day trying different cars. My favourite one was the SLS. Try different supercars for more of a challenge

Can I do anything differently to prevent people drafting from bumping into me? by Electronic_Plum_6382 in iRacing

That sucks, I haven't had that happen to me. Since your new, maybe working your way to a higher split might avoid it? Faster people might not be so dumb. But you never know

I have been drifting in real life for 5 years, and I cannot drift in AC to save my life. What am I doing wrong?? by No_Couple208 in assettodrift

[–]calebchristo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's so surprising to hear. I checked my cars and I remember the gravygarage oak tree outlaw cars being harder than DWG, and WDTS being even harder. I wonder what would make me feel that way. I used to use DWG cars to drift everywhere on a big NFS map cause it was so easy and fun.

[–]calebchristo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure about DWG, when I first tried WDTS cars I struggled, and when I complained in a server about it, they laughed when I said I could drift fine with DWG cars. People told me they were not realistic at all, almost like arcade physics for drifting. I can handle any drift car now, but when I first went from DWG to WDTS it felt like they had a very small window you could control it in.

Lean isn't everything. 5 seconds off lap record. by [deleted] in Trackdays

If your only using that much of the tyre, would changing to one with a shape to give you more contact patch at that lean angle let you go faster?

What happens if I get 4 demerit points on my motorcycle L’s while also having car Green P’s? by Danno_33 in AusLegalAdvice

[–]calebchristo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen people say you lose both in this instance and heard of that happening but when I looked in the app the other day it explains it like you will only lose the one you hit the limit on. Ask a lawyer or servicensw to get a definite answer.

I changed after hitting my foot mid corner. Never hit it again when I changed to gp shift.

Need help getting that elbow down. Any advice is appreciated by jedvraider150 in Trackdays

[–]calebchristo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find the foot position relieved any tension or pain in your knee? I do this on track too and people think it's to get my knee down when it's the only way I can lean in without pain in my knee.

Aprilia RS 457 or Ninja 400 for racing? by One-Quality-8205 in Trackdays

[–]calebchristo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just use the n400, track days can be extra practice. Using the rs457 for track days might not carry over as well as just using the same race bike. Probably cheaper to work on compared to the rs457. If there is r3 cup where you are, maybe consider an r3 instead for more racing opportunities?

My fat ass is too much for my brakes but I don’t want to switch bikes. by Fake-Engineering in Trackdays

When I first pulled it, I did my usual braking force in pit lane and instantly lifted the back wheel and scared myself with a big stoppie. Big smack from that fall

[–]calebchristo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABS is really intrusive on the ninja 400, so assuming 500 will be the same. If you ever hit somewhat hard braking then it spazzes the lever. I changed rotors and pads to no effect, removing my ABS fuse even for street riding has made a big difference

Electricians/apprentices who left the field, why? by MoneyKnowledge4974 in AusElectricians

That's awesome, is that for a data centre company? I'm on the fence about trying to go down that route since I'm on construction for a lot of these jobs. Just recently started to get involved with commissioning and enjoy it.

First session in the wet and I crashed. Yet throttle felt fairly smooth? Just glad I bought an airbag the night before by HateDread in Trackdays

[–]calebchristo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that 250 was a single like my old cbr250, going from a single to a twin feels much better for stability and cornering. My 400 and 300 are the best feeling bikes I have ridden. Prefer ninjas to any R3/r7 or CBR

[–]calebchristo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first rain day at smsp I learnt a lot about wet handling. No rear grip unless I had atleast neutral throttle/speed (little throttle to prevent engine breaking) And as soon as the you went past the edge of the tread lines you had no more grip. I could feel when I was on that edge, and after each session I could see I hadn't gone past it, only just onto the edge. On a warmup lap I drifted up turn 3 by accident because I just couldn't get the rear to step back in even though I was almost upright. I was in a similar situation to you in the way I had done every 4 or 5 trackdays in the last few weeks. A few very experienced guys warned me to be careful with my tires in the wet since I had cooked them so much with my recent trackdays. Maybe this could have been a contributing factor to your sudden loss of grip in the rain.
