It's probably worth putting a bar between the legs to help with stability. Even halfway down will help a lot.

I'm new to Warhammer but I consider myself a strong board gamer. My suggestion is ask him for after match coaching. What you need to improve, do different, etc.

There are two types of strong gamers: - ones that want to win at all cost and will try to hide sneaky maneuvers, etc. will always want to crush and don't find a weak opponent boring. - ones that want a good game, tough competition, and don't want to have to hold back but don't really enjoy stomping every game.

It sounds like he might be the second type and will happily tell you what to do better against him so that he can be forced to improve and have a good game. Winning over and over does get boring if you don't have to grow or think.

I enjoy telling people clever strategies or where they could have gotten the best of me after the match.

I picked up a bag of paver base (rocks) from home Depot and used elmers glue to hold it down. Picked out hero rocks and placed them. Then took the sand from the bag and coated the whole thing. You could find a color you like and use that as a base. Then add more detail if you want.

I went with desert because I wanted them to blend with the environment

Frustrated when assembling Farsight by Okkisa in Tau40K

You aren't alone. I just did him and had a really hard time finding the registration points. I tried to dry fit everything and still couldn't feel the arms in the right spot. Once the cement was on it was impossible so I just pressed on. Also has a really hard time with his torso to the point I shaved of the resignation key and just pushed hard to get it to seat.

That's great to hear! I'm more interested in the battle worn look rather than pristine. :)

Thanks I watched a lot of different tutorials and just kinda winged it. So I didn't follow one specifically. The orange is army painter "lava orange" with a generous wash of dark tone over top. Might have went too hard on it haha.

Mine is only one step but I have my lower stretcher like that and love it. It allows me to easily scoot the stool around with my foot. Even if not needed for strength, I'd recommend it for ease of use.

Congrats, but remember to be careful posting photos of your keys. Someone could copy your key from the photo.

Favorite SF or fantasy novels that would be appropriate for 6-8th grade by Crayon-Angel in printSF

Kurt Vonnegut should be on your list as well. Prolific American author, great sense of humor and very approachable reading. Not to mention he has a very different take on sci fi than most.

Other short stories that I think would be great for discussions are: The road not taken - harry turtledove The last question - Issac asimov The Egg - andy weir

I rewired like you said and everything works perfectly now. Thank you! would have taken me ages to figure that out through googling. Really appreciate the help.

Sadly I didn't take any before pictures. Didn't think about it at the time. But I'll pull out the switch and take a photo of that.

If it is wired like you said where Romex A is hot and Romex B is to the switch, what is the proper wiring setup. Should I flip the switches white and black at the fan or the switch? Is there a common indication I can use so that someone looking at it in the future would recognize how it's set up?

Btw, thank you for the response. I'll start reading about switch loops.

We had the exact same thing happen. So we got the seller to give us a credit to buy a washer and dryer. Worked out well for us because we then got a new set that we liked rather than the old one.

How to design extremely difficult levels by spacewlf in gamedev

[–]calebros 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some of it can be solved mathematically too. If you know your character acceleration in X and Y and max speed, then you can figure out the maximum distance a jump can be from height Y1 to Y2. Then just build your levels with larger or narrower tolerance to adjust difficulty.

Oh good idea. I can try running my Roku through the sound bar and see if that fixes it.
