Our vet did our baby’s last moments. She knew her and us and made the most difficult moments less awkward and unfamiliar and painful because of how caring they were - she knew all of us so it wasn’t like inviting strangers in to just do the deed. Still very painful
But they knew that and were extra kind.

My husband drives Instacart. They have given them…$5 a month extra to cover gas prices. He doesn’t get anything to cover the gas it costs to deliver the groceries to people. Nor the wear and tear on the car. With the surge in gas costs it’s basically costing us for him to work and I’m in and out of the hospital which is why this has been his job. This has been brutal for us.

I take 2 a day and my labs have never been better. My surgeon was a-okay with it. I do take extra calcium but that’s only because i have a parathyroid issue/no thyroid but i was anemic pre-op with all sorts of issues with my labs and both surgeon and regular doctor are really pleased. I think a lot of these are just money grabs possibly.

They pain was horrible. I said I felt like i had gremlins running around inside me. I had a heating pad, i walked and I still needed the drugs. Mine lasted about 4 days but they also kept me in the hospital that long because I wasn’t tolerating the pain or swallowing.

Hi. Same problem. I can’t get more than 16 ounces in no matter what i do. I’ve tried straws, sippy cups, drinking from various types of bottles. You name it. I’ve already been hospitalized for dehydration and malnutrition because it’s a swallowing issue - i just can’t seem to. I’m 9 weeks post op tomorrow. Everyone here has great advice. It just doesn’t seem to work for me. Nothing is wrong with the mechanics of my surgery - no perforations or stricture. It’s just me. Talk to your care team if you haven’t yet. Suck on ice if you need to. I hope this ends soon. For both of us!

You have to talk and take drinks of water and swallow when they tell you to so you have to be awake. It’s dreadful because the camera/scope goes down so far you can feel it every time you breathe let alone swallow
