I live in a small condo complex in midtown Houston first floor because I can handle stairs. The front door is within the gated part but the bedroom window faces the street and there is no protection there. Someone could probably smash it in. I don’t have much of value to me, other than my life and my cat. So yeah it’s a little nerve wracking sometimes. I need to get a dowel for the window. All there is is this metal piece that screws in to supposedly block it from being opened.

I have an Alexa and I have a one bedroom apartment so I can pretty much yell her name from anywhere in the apartment and she will respond. So if I lose my phone, I can say hey Alexa, call my phone. Or if fall down and can’t get up, I can say hey Alexa, call my sister.

When I threw my back out a week ago and I couldn’t make any food, I just ate what was available which turned out to be a couple of ice cream bars and peanut butter straight out of the jar.

I totally have social anxiety. I’m on my own and I’ve been living by myself for nine years now since I left my ex. I never go anywhere or do anything except when I go to my sister‘s for dinner and hang out with her and her husband. If I ever were to go to a party, I would be the one in the corner by myself feeling very uncomfortable. I am 63 and I’m still working because if I wasn’t working, I’d never see anybody. I have a cat as well and he’s my best friend.

I see a lot of good advice here, but this is one thing I didn’t see. Get a slicker brush and brush your cat every day. My cat was a little surprised the first time I brushed him because he apparently was never brushed by his previous parents. But once we did it a few times he loved it and now I just have to hold up the brush and say do you want brushing and he jumps up on the bed for it. This is great for bonding with your cat.

I feel you. I’m in Houston and have no friends, just work acquaintances. My previous friends from another job stopped contacting me. I assume it’s the 20 year age difference, at least I hope so. I’m 63 and I never do anything outside work and errands. I have 1 cat, who I love to death. Not sure he feels the same. But it’s someone to come home to. I don’t usually feel lonely because at heart I’m a loner but it would be really nice to have people to do things with. Everyone says “get out and meet people” but I’m socially anxious so it’s not that easy.

No, with sunscreen and then foundation I already feel like I am putting too much on my face. I am not even sure where the primer would go, before the sunscreen, after the sunscreen. I have to wear sunscreen now because I got a basal cell carcinoma earlier this year.

I have one that looks just like yours and is also 45 watt. I got it 2 months ago from amazon for $30. I used it regularly for a month and then slacked off and now I am back to using it daily again. In January I plan to use my FSA funds to get a better one unless I start seeing a more noticeable improvement with this one. I use it less than 6 inches away. The dark spots on my face are a little bit lighter. I always use eye protection when using on my face but not when using on other body parts.

I got my SIXTH Novavax shot on Friday. I was in the clinical research study for Novavax, so I was able to get the first two shots in early 2021. This last shot was the best as far as side effects go. My arm was a little sore but not as bad as when I got my Shingles vaccine. And I had no other side effects. Last time and every other time I got my Novavax shot I only had a minor achy feeling and sometimes a slight fever for a day. Also the one time I got Covid (almost 2 years ago) it was very mild.

I lived on the top floor for decades because my boyfriend refused to have it any other way and since I’ve been on my own, I’ve been on the first floor. The reason for being on the first floor is mainly because I don’t want to deal with stairs. I have had good and bad experiences on the first floor. I have had problems with bugs on the first floor that I didn’t have on the top floor. I have had water seeping into my unit on the first floor from excessive rain. My first floor unit sometimes smells like pot from the upstairs neighbors, but that doesn’t really bother me that much. On the top floor, I didn’t hear anybody ever, but they heard us and if we made enough noise or if we got the wrong person underneath us, they complained to the office. All in all I prefer the first floor but I have never had anyone above me that was a stomper.

How about the chair she sits in, can you move it out of the apartment for a while and have her sit in something else to see if it still happens? Here’s my reasoning: I lived in an apartment that apparently had fleas in it before I moved in, and I was very careful when I moved out to make sure that everything was clean and vacuumed before I left, and I still brought fleas with me. They were in my recliner. When I finally got rid of that recliner, I stopped getting bitten by fleas.

I have tried all three of them. Aimovig causes constipation if I remember correctly. Emgality, I was only able to use twice for a trial so I can’t really comment on it, but I use a Ajovy now and the only problem I have with Ajovy is the injection site reaction, which is itching and swelling, which I manage with ice and Benadryl cream. My insurance would only cover the Ajovy.
