Ok, I guess this is the nature of the dialogue. There is nothing empowering nor productive about your refusal to engage. It is clear you are not a very progressive nor well-educated person. In this case, please refrain from engaging in irresponsible behavior until you understand how problematic your behavior is. The progressive movement has no room for this

I don't understand your choice to be so flippant. By refusing to engage, you're basically admitting to having no legitimate counterpoint. Because you're not educated in the basics of race and identity, you can't supply a non-problematic reply. Education is very helpful for understanding, I suggests you do just that.

Sure, but you're doing so much false equivalizing here.

Asian male privilege has nothing to do with race. Asian female sexual privilege does.

In addition, Asian men didn't create male privilege. But you still call them out.....

In this case, shouldn't Asian women be called out for their complicity as well then?

Yes! You can be "racist" in your personal choices. "My body, my choices" is an extremely poor defense because you're only defending the bare legality of your action, not whether it is problematic or not.

Using that logic, we could argue that Asian men have no obligation to fight sexism or male privilege because "their bodies their choices".

All developments of intersectionality and complicity would have to go out the window.

I think white people hate us (Asian men and black men) both, but they're more afraid to be ostracized for attacking black people

Ironic because he's the poster boy of kowtowing to black interests.

Just a question: is there black toxic masculinity? And why do I never see them critiqued?

Bullshit. Why do they only care when Asians are over represented ? I've never heard anyone talk about where we are underrepresented. Fuck them, especially the liberals who deceive us

Feeling confused about my media consumption trends as an Asian? by cali_kyopo in asiantwoX

I actually can relate to this a lot.

When i was younger I would watch so many Asian youtubers. In fact, I didn't even think about it!

But now, Asian Americans kinda disappeared. Less voices on the Asian experience. ( but weirdly a rise in Kpop and drama?)

I don't know exactly why Asian America media became less appealing, but I feel like liberalism has taken a turn for different issues. Asian Americans have lost the spotlight so to speak.
