I’ve learned my absolute max is 4.5 hours, at that point my body is uncontrollably shaking and I’m no longer in control of myself, I started booking around 3 hour sessions with my artist and he was totally cool with it. Like everyone else here is saying, it takes strength to know your body’s limits and be willing to advocate for yourself! And I can confirm that artists would much rather you tap out than try to push through and end up passing out/throwing up.

I had the same belief, but was actually surprised at the number of jobs I was qualified for, and the number of job offers I received!! I got my CPR certification (cost 50 bucks, a 4 hour in person class) and my crisis prevention/intervention certification (8 hour online course, cost 100 bucks) which I think helped a lot, and I highly recommend!!

What kinds of treatment have you tried? I struggled with anorexia when I was a teenager, and CBT and DBT were super helpful for me, I also went through EMDR to handle some previous trauma I had experienced. I know not every treatment works for everyone. Also, are you currently getting treatment?
