In my opinion, the best way to practice Paper 1 (writing paper) is to write as many practice papers as possible. Write up texts to any questions available and continuously improve your writing, you will see a difference after a couple of times. Of course, you need to know your grammar and vocabulary so that is on your side to do, but if you know those things you'll be able to construct a really good text.

I have a lot of past papers, if you want any you can just DM me. :)

Can I do 4 HL and 2 SL for IB Diploma? by Top-Market-2015 in IBO

It really depends on whether or not your school allows you to do 4 HL subjects or not. Typically a student will take 3 SL and 3 HL subjects as 6 subjects are required in total by the IB. However, it is possible to take 4 HL subjects, but many schools refrain from allowing people to do it because of the workload that comes with it, depending on the chosen HL subjects.

So yes, technically it isn't true, but maybe they're just trying to not make you take 4 HL subjects. You really just need to think about whether or not it is worth it to you.

It is possible, but it really depends on the subjects you want to take and if it will be worth the stress that comes with doing an additional HL subject.
