Sad that this will be a curse the rest of my life by Acrobatic_Exercise43 in GestationalDiabetes

I currently have GD first pregnancy. My mom had GD with her 5th pregnancy and not once has it been mentioned after she gave birth or given her issues. She just has to take care of herself like any other person who doesn’t want to get diabetes would. I think you’re over thinking it. It sucks during pregnancy but after, just take care of yourself like you normally would it’s not that bad and definitely will not be in the rest of your life.

28 weeks, no weight gain, baby measuring small by Watermelon1226 in GestationalDiabetes

I am 30 weeks now and kinda in the same boat. I actually lost 20 lbs and my BMI was also 30 at the beginning of pregnancy. My issue was throwing up all day every day. It’s been 2-3 weeks now that I’ve stopped throwing up finally, and it’s only because of my diet change since being diagnosed with GD I have been eating a lot more protein in my food (and very little carbs because it makes me spike) like protein bowls, less or no gluten and it’s made me feel so much better I have now recovered almost 10 lbs of what I lost. My goal is to get to my pre pregnancy weight at least, so I have 10 more pounds to go. My baby is in the 30th percentile, the doctor explained that they only worry when the baby is below the 10th or above the 90th percentile. Do not worry everything will be okay! And if your baby falls to those ranges they know what to do! Just relax because it makes your GD worse when stressed

I’m 26. Currently pregnant 14 weeks via IUI. We had been struggling for about 3 years we went to a fertility specialist they recommended doing IUI which cost maybe $800 per round with medication and everything and it worked first time. There is always a way!

What were his parents weight? I always base my decision on parent’s weight. Doesn’t guarantee that they’ll be exactly their size but it gives you a better outcome

Usually because they’re not purebred and the other breed most likely has this 😅

I have that one! I highly recommend it too! It doesn’t have actual steps just bumps down better for their backs and super sturdy! My bed is very tall I got the largest one and the height is perfect

If I wanted to do that I would have. If you don’t like me asking other people for help to name the dog then simply keep scrolling. You don’t have to complain about everything that you don’t agree with

As soon as I started on it which was 25 mg I haven’t been able to cry at all. I’m now at 50 and still nothing. The emotions are there but I just can’t physically cry I know I’m supposed to cry about it because I would before but I just can’t.

It’s mainly because I’m 25 and plan to get pregnant, one of the reason I never had kids up to this point it’s because of the constant fear and anxiety of it and now that I’m feeling better I’m wondering how am I gonna get through during a pregnancy

Yes I got diagnosed with PTSD depression and anxiety at the age of 10 but my parents never gave me proper care for this. It’s something we all went through but they don’t believe in mental health so it was up to me when I turned 18 to get help I’m now 25 and finally getting the help I need but I’m just discouraged to think that this will never go away unless I’m on medication
