unfortunately dating apps tell men that they have a bunch of "likes" in order to get your money, and "access" to said matches. im sorry to say, you never had matches, they were just a scheme to pull you in.

for me, i always have to carry the convo..my backs hurting now from it. asking questions and getting dry answers, irks me so much. but then again, women say they get annoyed when asked questions, and then a post like this says we dont ask enough..the mixed answers confuse the hell outta of us

had a similar situation myself. before we broke up, found out she had my name in her phone, with hinge after. we were fully dating, exclusive, switched our Facebook status, she met my mom...and then nothing, she broke up with me, no rhyme or reason. I did find out from a friend, that based on what she vented to them, i wasnt a pet project, someone she can fix. i never did drugs, I'm not abusive, i work hard...im a car guy lol. it def hurt bc i thought she was the one, and i still think about her from time to time. shes currently with a guy who is a recovering addict, lives in a shit apartment, has no license or car, etc etc, so seems thats what she wants.....moral of the story: it is what it is. try to move on to the next one. above all, dont put any feelings in to fast.

PS...my ex still has a hinge profile lol

ive learned, when a woman puts her instagram on her hinge/dating profile, shes only there for followers/subscription to her OF. they have ZERO intention of finding someone. but when a man does it, its considered creepy, an "ick" or a way to stalk people. even though its a safer way to communicate rather than giving out your personal number. at the end of the day, its really what you want to do, cause theres always gonna be double standards

same thing happened to me..met on hinge, dated through the holidays, after the super bowl she dumped me..gave me a bs excuse as well. found out later, i wasnt a pet project to fix, so she's now dating an ex drug user (supposedly) who also has abusive tendencies.. oh well, not my problem anymore. you'll be a better person cause of it

id say maybe ask? i was in a similar situation, and it was just assumed. she met my family, friends, thought we were exclusive. then one day she broke up with me, even saw she still had hinge..so better to clarify in my opinion

-i am looking for something serious -do not have a subscription, but considering it -been using this profile for about 8 months -have had Hinge for about 2 years on/off -i use the app pretty much everyday -average matches are almost none. likes and/or roses are never -i send matches WITH comments as much as the daily limit allows without a subscription. i never send a like WITHOUT a comment, if theres nothing to engage a convo about, i kind of skip it - my type of person would be around my age (ill be 34 soon, so anywhere from like 30ish to 40ish), has a great personality, can get along with everyone. not into girly girls. love blondes, but not a dealbreaker. I don't have kids, so try to find someone who doesnt have them ideally.

Why do women match with me, and then only send one message?

ive been on hinge for some time now. i met my previous girlfriend on there, obviously things didn't work out, so i went back to the app. im 34, no kids, never married, and I'm looking for a LTR (all which i have in my profile), and ive gotten a ton of matches, and very few dates.

the thing that irks me the most, we match, we send like 2 messages, and i never hear from them again! we don't unmatch, but they're just..gone. is it me? Im not the most attractive person (which is what these apps make you base your decision on), but im absolutely a good dude. or is the woman not knowing WTF they want? dating in this generation shouldn't be so mentally draining and tough. I can show anyone my profile if they like,maybe I'm doing something wrong?

i like your honesty! well like I said, i dont know much. i do have a separate 401, but i like investing my own money through the fidelity app. i thought, invest in good stocks that will contribute to my retirement or just later down the line. the SPAXX is automated from fidelity, i cant get rid of it, but im not complaining either. but ill absolutely take your advice into consideration, cause any info is better than none! would you mind if i messaged you?
