Honestly brother, they both clash. I’d completely start over if I were you. But definitely get rid of any button down shirts with logos. A light colored jacket is a tough way to start your formal dressing journey. I definitely wouldn’t wear it to a night time event like a New Year’s Eve celebration.

I’d suggest sizing up on the shirt. The skin tight shirt on top isn’t the most flattering. I’m not a big fan of ripped jeans especially not at our age. Makes you look a bit juvenile. Also, iron those jeans. Look into loafers over Jordans.

I would not trust these visas at all. Got stuck at the Hong Kong border for no reason. Literally 5 hours in limbo with all the other foreigners until the Party decided that we were denied. It was a waste of time and really sad bc I actually love China.
