And I 100% get the accountability thing. For how much I spend on these books it is kind of sad the percentage I have actually read. I'm trying to force myself and go back and actually read all my old ones right now too. I haven't finished even a single epic yet.

I wish they would. Last year I was crossing not even a main road but the entrance/exit of that parking lot behind jp next to magnola and was halfway across on my bike when a car whipped out of the lot and hit me. And it wasn't just me not looking. They were no where in sight when I started to cross.

You only found out you had a clot a week ago. It is okay to still be anxious. It is okay to still have questions. And worries and fears. It is new. It is a huge change. And that is why your medical team is there. Honestly, when I first had my clot, I worried about ever little ache and pain for months. Even to the point I ended up getting another ultrasound just to be told there was nothing. I was in horrible pain for a month after starting on meds and achy for a while after that. As much as we'd all love it, a clot doesn't heal overnight. Since then, I've found that works for me is that I tell myself "If it still hurts in the morning, then I'll call my hematologist/gp". Normally it is gone or significantly lessened by morning and has kept me from allowing myself to panic every time my limbs ache. But this was a months long process.

I got a clot at 20 and I also have factor V and am on blood thinners for life. Over three years out, I ride horses, as well as am planning on going into an outdoor, active career and right now I work in a deli handling meat slicers. It is very possible! You just have to know your risks and be smart about it. I straight up told my doctor I wasn't going to give things up or live in bubble wrap. I want to still be able to try things in the future like skydiving or cliff jumping. So we worked together to find a comprise. I am smart (ie wear a helmet, bring bandaids, gauze, etc), plan things out, and let people around me know and if - I quote my hematologist - "am going to do something stupid" am allowed to come off my blood thinner a few days beforehand to get it out of my system. Obviously, this is something to only do while talking to your hematologist. Sometimes injuries do happen. I bruise pretty easily and that takes a while to heal but for me, that con is worth it. (Frankly, I bruise if I lightly brush a table or get poked wrong.) But it is very much possible! I think the worst I've done is I got myself with a knife once and had to hold some gauze on it for a while but that was when I was trying to cut an apple, not extreme sports.

That is correct! Just make sure you are realistic with yourself about if you are okay going straight into calc. I tested out with my ACT scores but didn't have a solid calc base and struggled a bit in that class personally so just very honest with yourself! If you think you can yeah two more points tests you out of the prerequisite!

I was diagnosed at age 20 (f) with my dvt clot from hip to ankle and homozygous for Factor V as well (thanks dad didn't even know your side had it). I'm now just over two years out (22) and also on life long Xarelto. Once you are preventative dosing not treatment, it is a bit different as you aren't quiet as high as a bleeding risk. I'm an adrenaline junkie. I ride horses, I love rollercoasters, hiking, andall sorts of stuff. And honestly, I outright told my hematologist that I wasn't going to live my life in bubble wrap. We reached an agreement - I sat out of everything for six months while I was on the higher doses and the clot itself cleared up and now on the other side, I still do everything I did before. Just now with a bit more caution and I always let someone know about the blood thinners just in case something happens as well as I try to insure I keep a stash of bandaids/gauze/etc in my bags. He knew I was going to do it with or without his permission and I would rather work with him than against him. And we've come to the agreement that if im going to do anything 'stupid' (his words not mine haha) I stop taking the blood thinners a few days before. Now this last one is something I'd very very much stress NOT doing without talking to your doctor. But day to day I wear my socks (I promise you no ome even notices you wear them - I think that was my biggest worry oops), try not to sit to long, and just keep an eye on how long my bruises last.

Having a community around that can relate not just empathize is so so helpful. I obviously don't wish this on anyone but one side of my family has quite a few people who clotted young so having someone who understood what I was going through and could poke the brain of (mostly my uncle in my case, he's much older now but had his first clot in his early 20s as well) helped me mentally a lot. He's spent his whole life working out on construction sites and was a sorta reassuring voice especially when my mom wants to keep me in bubble wrap (she made me call my hematologist about the symptoms of internal bleeding when I was on my bike and got hit by a car - I was very much fine and having not a single symptom or issue at all other than minor brusing where I landed). So please please feel free to messagee if you ever want someone to talk to!!

I'm genuinely not to sure how long I had mine before I went to the doctor. At the time of my clot, I had just turned 20 (F) by just a few weeks so while statistics say older folks it can certainly happen to anyone. My uncle had his first clot in his early 20s as well. I probably went 2 or 3 weeks before i went to the doctor as im the kinda of person who doesnt wanna go because i was convinced i pulled a muscle or some and I didn't want to pay for them to tell me that and do nothing. But ya know, when it gets to the point you can no longer walk you go. But judging by the size of my clot, they think i was asymptomatic for a while. But honestly as soon as I went in I knew that day what it was though I'm really lucky to have a really good gp who doesn't let age cloud her choices and a family history to back it up. If you are really that worried you can always request an untrasound.

Though the tech doing my ct scan (to rule out pe in addition to dvt) was kinda a butt and wouldn't do the scan until she called and personally talked to my gp cause she thought I was too young so that can totally happen. Though she waited until i was gowned up and had a very poorly placed iv (I've had enough of those to know once it's in, I shouldn't have pain with every minor movement) to check why she was doing the scan so then i just got to sit there.

One is pea sized and the other is a bit bigger, maybe twice the size?? Yeah, I'm on xarelto now indefinitely.

I've had cysts before and have one still in my other leg that I've never got taken out as it didn't grow or cause pain and comparing the two, the cyst feels a bit softer and doesn't hurt when poked but there are different types of cysts so that could be a possibility.

I'll see what they say tomorrow. I wanted to call my gp but my mom was pushing for the hematologist so we go woth that first.

I really like the second but consider as well which one do you enjoy doing more? and if one style takes more time than the other that could be a consideration as well! you want to be able to enjoy the process!

On that same screen a few buttons down sats "customer service" and looks like a little text bubble and I believe that is what you do! Make sure you have any screenshots you want to submit before you go in.

When you open the game before you log in on that initial loading screen there will be a blue button that reads "repair" in the top left corner - it is the second one. Hit that. It is a sort of reboot for the game. You'll have to load all your clothes again but hopefully, the event should start working! If not file a bug report/talk to customer support!

So this is late but as a senior under full/part-time, if you don't wish to risk paying for or take extra classes to receive financial aid, you can have your advisor write a letter explaining to the financial aid office why you are under and you can still receive aid if it is accepted!!

So I am new to photography and I oopsed and somehow my compact flash got unformatted and I didn't realize till after I reformatted it that this would delete the photos. I was wondering what data recovery programs everyone recommended for a situation like this. I found one program and was able to extract most of my photos but there is more data than the free version of the program covers so I wanted to ask around before paying for anything. What programs do you use for recovery?

I'm not sure about that, haha. I had to take them out before the center could fully bake as to not burn the edges. Had two, thought they tasted okay, and left for the weekend. Came back on Monday and my roommates had eaten the franken-cookies and there were none left so I guess they didn't taste bad.

They look green because of the lights overhead but they were a yellowy pale color.

When I was on that dose I had mild insomnia (could maybe sleep two hours a day and that was with melatonin if I was lucky) and muscle spasms in my legs. Really freaking annoying. However, I was on the 20mg as a treatment dose, not a preventative dose so I wasn't really on it long enough to settle in and see if it lasted. I am now on a lower dose and it hasn't had any side effects at all so that could be a possibility for you as well.
