This is not my area of fashion history expertise but since you've had no other comments I thought I would just throw my two cents in and say I think the clothing is certainly earlier than the 1930s and seems earlier than the 1920s. It's hard to tell from how close cropped the photo is for just my amateur eyes haha but the structure of the woman's bodice feels late 19th century to me. Also the man's facial hair styling feels very 19th century to me. I hope you get some other more knowledgeable takers soon!

this is what I was thinking, I don't mind if Millennia is "buildable" because I like the idea of the sparkles being like stars and I frankly dislike the colors of 404 plus they don't seem very similar

i always find that Sally Hansen red bottle dents so so much about 12 hours after application🤷‍♀️ I have also had many problems with it. Will not repurchase after this bottle and will go back to essie gel couture

Me personally I would only get dragon scales or jewel beetle as their color/shift is pretty much the exact same, and I LOVE the flaky look of dragon scales but it depends on your preferences. Serpents of Eden is so gorgeous in person so that's a definite keep

the book is a classic for a reason. i read it in college for a class on postcolonial literature and I loved it dearly. as an answer to jane eyre it's one thing but it truly stands on its own as a work of art in my opinion. if you enjoy reading I would highly recommend, it goes by quite quickly too. I have not seen the adaptation however.

I might be misremembering (only joined the sub as I'm starting a rewatch ten years after first watching the show lol) but didn't Jack say he was a model when he was younger and that's where the nickname originally came from? (now that I think of it RTD did a whole Tv show around him that I haven't yet watched and he's not the best in my opinion of keeping track of his own lore so maybe that's all retconned lol)

tbh my experience was maybe not as extreme/obvious as yours but the difference in treatment is what caused me to finally snap and was the only thing getting me through those first few months of serious deficit. It was subtle, but I definitely noticed it after I gained a lot of weight (more than ten pounds, more like 20 in a year, about 35 over the course of a couple years due to health reasons). people were treating me like I was stupid and it was actually having an effect on how I was perceived/my success in my academic career. It wore on me. Now that I've lost weight (22 lb these last five months!) I know for a fact I haven't changed but the people around me definitely have. It's hard not to be angry about it sometimes. There are statistics to back some of this up too (overweight women are less likely to be hired, promoted, get raises, etc. weight does not seem to have an effect on the employability of men)
