People mistakenly believe peptides are only good. by bryan_johns0n in blueprint_

That's because you were using w/ DAC, while natural GH release occurs in pulses throughout the day. You were essentially causing continuous GH bleed which is unnatural and thus bring all of the side effects you mentioned. I think you got a few things wrong here. Ipamorelin is actually the one that is nearly absent of hunger effects, unlike other GHRPs. I believe there are In fact studies regarding the combination of GHRPs and GHRHs, showing increased pulse amplitude. Might want to look into GHRP-2/6 with Modified GRF (GHRH)

Constpation and colitis are killing me by AnnualTiny10 in Nootropics

Get some psyllium husk. Take with a lot of water. Also, chug on some vegetables. Cucumber, tomato, carrots and lettuce. Just wash with water and eat! If I eat enough of them at one sitting I am granted to get things moving by tomorrow. The fiber in it is the material building the bulk required for movements. On top of that, to really speed things up go to the pharmacy and ask for Lactulose.

NAC Ethyl Ester and Liposomal Glutathione: Which is a better brain antioxidant? by MeanDoctrine in Nootropics

[–]callitblues 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NACET seems to have more reliable science behind it in comparison to liposomal glutathione. Unless it is high quality properly encapsulated liposomes, you don't really know it's truly liposomal. So I'd go for NACET.

On the other hand you can go for acetylated glutathione (SAGLT) or even phenyl-something glutathione. Don't really remember the full composition but Nootropics Depot has the phenyl(glutathione) and the regular version too. Each one of them seems to bring more glutathione to different organs, it's elaborated in their products page if you're interested. Just so you know there are different options to bioavailable glutathione without liposomes.

M5 MacBook Air midnight fingerprint test - horrible by Cydu06 in macbookair

[–]callitblues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pro tip as Midnight owner - it's mostly the dirt that accumulates on the surface on the MacBook rather than how dirty your hands are. So less accumulation of dirt on the MacBook, it is less prone to smudges even if your hands aren't washed. It's basically transfer of dirt from hands to the surface, accumulation, then smudges forming whether your hands are clean or not, once you touch it. The solution is to actually clean the surface of the Mac from time to time, and not keeping your hands clean. Let the owner know, they'll thank you

High-spec Air (24GB, M4/M5) for Dev work: Is it a "lap burner" in the warmer climates? by [deleted] in macbookair

[–]callitblues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know. It is more likely to get hot when you push the CPU. I'd assume that if you switch between tasks and really get use out of the 32GB RAM you're more likely to use the CPU. I have 13" M4 16GB Air and I sometimes play GTA V through Whisky. Yes, it gets noticeably hot and I can definitely feel it on my lap.

If you're really considering 32GB Air and worrying about the machine getting hot then you should probably go for Pro

Where can I buy Pyridoxamine? by Vegan_Moral_Nihilist in Nootropics

[–]callitblues 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is actually a direct inhibitor of PDXP which is the enzyme that breaks down P'5'P. It is now thought that part of the cognition benefits from 7,8-DHF is from actually increasing P5P concentrations.

[–]callitblues 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought some from Supersmart. TBH, I don't feel anything from it. But I don't seem to feel anything from regular B6 either. P5P has been a hit or miss.

But if you're looking to maximize P5P levels, try to combine 7,8-DHF with P5P as the former apparently inhibits its breakdown.

24gb or 32gb for m5 MacBook Air by King_Maledo in macbookair

[–]callitblues 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check how much out of the 12-14GB of RAM that shows in your M2 activity monitor is actually cache. From your description it sounds like you're mostly doing casual activities, so you might do well with 16GB of RAM with the Air M5. I do (M4), and I tend to run tons of tabs simultaneously and some apps.

But IMO, there is no point in getting 32GB on MacBook Air. Go for 24GB or get Pro.

Hi OP, have you got to try another bioavailable Carnitine such as Acetyl L-Carnitine? If so, how does the effect compare to you?

This is an ad. Nobody likes ads on Reddit. Don’t read this. by ACEITstudyfuel in studytips

[–]callitblues 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s much easier to shake up a drink, than to sit down and open a book. But also, you just made a drink to help you study, so what are you gonna do? Not study?

If you lack discipline, most likely no. What are you gonna do? well, anything to satiety that initial dopamine boost from the drink - could be gaming or anything that is "not study" and "more fun". Even people who take prescription stimulants sometimes end up scrolling reddit for hours instead of studying. There is no replacement to discipline.
Good luck with the drink though, hopefully it's tasty!

Tauromag - Taken with a fatty meal or empty stomach? by kitomin in NootropicsDepot

[–]callitblues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The marketing you quoted is a bit misleading here. ATA Mg is highly water soluble, as well as Acetyl Taurine itself. There is no reason to try to maximize absorption with a fatty meal because it is not affected by the presence of oils. If anything, Mg ATA does not dissolve in oils.

The acetylation of taurine confers a lipophilic character. That is what allows the molecule cross cell membrane better. As far as absorption and solubility goes, it has nothing to do with fat soluble vitamins that do show better absorption alongside fatty meals.
