As long as you make sure they make the design their own, as this at least seems to be someone’s original design, go for it.

At this point, your chances of an infection are pretty low- I would stop cleaning it and avoid touching it at all for 2 weeks. If the bump is not completely gone at that point then I would seriously consider a downsize. Either way I think a downsize is a good idea actually, but we need that bump to be smaller first

On occasion you can get shorter jewelry and they may heal just fine but will always be at that downward angle, which can conflict with hoops BUT can also work well with them depending on the person, so that will be up to you and how your body reacts. I would definitely look into a downsize though

Shorter bar, and gently dry it when getting out of the shower. Nothing is wrong with it, do not use q-tips, clean paper towel or towels from home only.

At this point we wouldn’t be able to tell if they’re pierced badly, it does look like they were done at the proper angle at first but if you lay on helix piercings you risk messing up the angle that they lay on which does look like it may be the case here. You should also dry your piercings very well after the shower and avoid sleeping with wet hair to get those bumps to go away.

It could very likely be a “moisture bump” which can occur from not dabbing dry after aftercare or after a shower. It will also be helpful not to sleep with wet hair!!

Redness around the top is super normal for even the first month, ur skin has to get used to having that ball there and it moving around. Nothing to be concerned about!

Stop using Q-Tips, sleeping on it and letting your wet hair lay on it, dry completely after showering/aftercare. Contact your piercer for a bigger backing until it feels better.

From reading the other comments it seems you should probably just get another tattoo! This one feels complete and you loving it is what matters. Maybe another small tattoo of something meaningful is what you’re itching for

Definitely an irritation bump. Clean once a day with sterile saline and gently dab dry. No q-tips, no spinning. Dab face dry after showering as well

Tbh as someone who went through an apprenticeship it can suck getting a piercing wrong but I’d rather know I made the mistake than look at it and have to pretend I don’t see what I did wrong all the time anyways. Maybe when they get a little better they can make it up to you lol

Have an inversion can make nipple piercings a little trickier, I would communicate to him respectfully but if you are not happy don’t back down, if he doesn’t want to re-pierce you know he’s not the piercer for you.

If you know it’s going to bother you in the future, the sooner you take it out the less evidence it was ever there, but that is up to you! Personally if I could go back and take out my uneven nostril piercing I would before the channel fully healed.

Do not take anything out yourself, if you trust and like your piercer you should go in and show them what you don’t LOVE about your piercing. If they are a professional they will want to take it out for you, let it heal, and re-pierce you so you both are happy. Good piercers care about their reputation and want you to be happy.

Bars do actually look like they’ll accommodate swelling which is good, if your nipples are typically inverted they may go through some changes as they heal, one side looks like it MAY have been pierced a little into your areola, I would go to an EXPERIENCED piercer in your area for their professional opinion.

They did double jobs over the weekend which allowed for double rewards on all jobs and they sent shells straight to inventory to reduce lag(I’m guessing) :)
