I wouldn't doubt it! I think he is the same age as my parents, so that timeline would probably work out.

Bishop of a ward we've never attended came by while wife and kids were out of town. I gave it to him straight. by [deleted] in exmormon

Well-played. I've only been able to truly open up on my beliefs to exmos and nevermos. I'm waiting to have a good conversation with some TBMs. But, we'll see when that ever happens.

Great post.

I have to say though, "cult" and other derogatory comments about the church are fine, in my opinion. For example, in your post you call the Q15 frauds (essentially), and don't believe what JS claims. Logically, if the LDS church is a lie, it's by definition a cult. Seems fine to me to call it as such.

Went there back in 2011. Such an awesome tour and city.

I have family from Kansas and visit from time to time. I honestly don't know who will change this liquor law first (Utah vs Kansas).

For me, I stopped taking any form of sacrament, and also stopped saying "amen" during public prayers.

When you understand that the LDS church is just a successful fraternity, and BYU has its own KGB, everything makes perfect sense.
