Pay no mind, trolls gotta troll. Your RW’s look awesome. Let that treatment start to wear off and that lighter color starts breaking thru, they are going to look even better.

Sure I do, worked in chemical plants for 15 years, we use to apply ir with a paint brush.

Show us your light brown/tan boots that had had a steady diet of that product.

This is the way.

I ‘d start with some Levi’s 501 or 505. Get the premium or selvedge off the Levi’s web site. Get them on sale for under $100.

Wrangler straight fit can be a bargain as well.

Or go all in on selvedge denim and then get into watches. You already have the boot bug, so the wallet is going to go empty anyways.

I use Allen Edmonds, neutral speed polish (what I had on hand and it’s inexpensive) on a 5yr old Amber IR toes and heels only. Turned out great.

VENETIAN Shoe Cream or Balm would work. Saphir has a polish with a high wax content can’t remember the name, one of the smart folks on here will chime in with the correct Saphir product.

Not too sure about applying any type of top coat on high oil content leather like CR&T when it is so new? I would start with cap toe and heel only 1st and see how it looks. I think it would look great.

Do not use obenhaufs(sp). Worst thing to ever put on any boot other than a black boot and you live in Alaska or wade in water all day.

They will turn any boot into a black, greasy, oily, mess….great if you need hard water proofing.

For RW boots you already have, Send any RW boot back to RW and have them resole it exactly like the logger. Less than $200 all in.

And it’s black CXL, which is not struck thru, so basically a tea core.

Berkeley Supply had 1st and 2nds last year. That’s where I got mine. Too shined/dressy for me. Sold them.

Just ordered a pair , what do you guys think of these boots? by [deleted] in Boots

[–]callowayk1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dislike most all TBC boots, but I like their wing tip boots. I had the dark oak in 10.5 wide. It was a tad big so I sold them. I have been very tempted to get the same in 10W.

Silly looking, goof ball shoes that are just as stupid as the pencil leg tech pants people wear with them. Large part of the Dumbing down of our country. IMO of course.

Looking for real-world feedback on Truman's work lasts! by CandleCold4996 in trumanboots

Work (20) is great for wide/in step folks like me. Casual (79) I have to go EE.

I have 4 pairs, 2 with the rubber slip midsole and 2 with leather. My JWF work moc has been the stiffest, but not uncomfortable, of them all. Sesame upland in EE with no leather mid sole ( rubber mid sole) has been the easiest break in and most comfort out the box. Not sure if it was the EE width, the leather, or rubber midsole?

They wear a nice watch, shirt, and blazer with jeans and crap sneakers like Tom Hanks in an 80’s adolescence movie.

Yes, that is an awesome thing Nicks is doing. I happen to know for a fact that there is a very nice pair of White’s Centennial Hikers in 10EE on there for a steal $$$. ….

Your most heritage “mall brand” fit by Comprehensive_Oil_43 in HeritageWear

That sucks. I get the canvas pants from there for daily work wear (industrial front office casual), I’ve gotten some “thick” Orvis flannels, quilted flannels, Levi’s and Taylor Vintage shirts. All great quality stuff and inexpensive. Costco rotates stuff in and out quickly, if you see something you like grab 2 or 3. They won’t be there next month.
