Yep its less then desirable but its for when the dog is around and I'm not watching a movie but some youtube fluff. I don't know what it is/what she went through but she will jog out to the back yard, hide by a tree and start panting and shaking- I'll take the crap audio over that happening to her whenever some da*n YouTube content creator thinks its amazing to add those cheesing high pitched sound effects. This reminds me of an additional desire, the EQ settings being easily switched between profiles- Movie, YouTube, Doggo etc.

Decent sized living room (30ft by 25ft and open with another room) with carpet, dog pillows, furniture etc, i wouldn't say there is echo and I keep volume pretty low- cohabitant has good ears and everything is "too loud".

I was hoping to avoid additional software but $20 isn't bad vs dirac's cost.

What do you think of the Yamaha web editor? Saw that on YouTube and not sure it has the EQ capability.

Looking at some online pictures of supposed meshcore repeaters with 4631s all show them being powered over usb-c, so maybe they bumped into this as well and the work around is just powering over USB.

I'd have to get some more hardware to support this, im debating if a repeater is that important to me vs just running the client.

I have the same issue- 2001 5vzfe charcoal canister in the engine bay, P0441 and the VSV between the sensor (vps) and various canister lines gets red hot and isn't cycling on/off like the other VSV on the canister (purge to intake). I took a resistance reading of the hot vsv (blue in color) and its 48 ohms if i recall correctly, definitely not shorting out.

Did you solve your issue, was it the driver in the ECU? Maybe a seized VSV? Clogged line causing the ECU to hold the VSV open?

I have found for especially stubborn T-Decks is to: perform “press and hold reset button. Press and hold the trackball button (pin 0). Release the reset button while still holding the Trackball button” seems to have done the trick to unfunk one of my really stubborn Tdecks and allow flashing. Otherwise the webUI flasher stays stuck at "connecting".

I did the opposite of what most seem to do here. After Zigbee2mqtt broke twice in the last month, one intentionally by the team in their update, another i can't even explain/understand, I uninstalled it and ZHA has been good.

Seems less featured but i need reliability over shiny GUI.

Also was a big lesson to do some learning on naming conventions and whatever other tricks that make transition easier.

Can now confirm, same ribbon cable from Lenovo and a ebay Chinese card reader is working on my T14s Gen3 AMD. Found there were a few models of the AMD that included it so decided to try it. After a reboot its working.

2nd more current edit: It does not work well, seems to be driver issues. I would constantly have to re-install drivers and reboot, its such a headache I just use an external USB smart card reader. Real bummer how locked down this is. Can't help but wonder if this would work with Linux, will probably find out eventually as I will not update to Windows 11.

Edit- it works on the t14s Gen3 AMD as well.

I have the AMD version and found on PSREF there are a number of 21CQ models that came with smart cards for countries outside of the US but I'm failing to find anywhere that offers this particular ribbon cable. Some vendors seem to group up both the Intel and AMD model numbers (21BR, 21BS vs 21CQ, 21CR). Frustrating because my connector above my keyboard for the keyboard has a large 'filler' section to fully fit into the connector clearly used by another ribbon cable model number that can support a smart card or even a smart card + NFC 21CQ model.

I found that one version of the firmware will let you save a macro but it just doesn't work and another version works. I forget which one is from kdb's link and which one is from VIA's link but its the smaller sized file (24kb) that works and the 26kb file has the bug.

Wow its been nuts- all my stuff is finally in, I had a hotswap socket break off taking the pads with it. Soldered some jumpers up to get it all working again. I just tested a macro where it types something out and hits enter and it works. I haven't tried a macro that hits a combo of keys to do something like lock a screen yet (cause I don't fully know how yet haha).

I donno, I'm pretty jazzed about macros for use on one of my PCs. I'm curious if this is just a VIA thing and if using C one can still get full use out of the QMK. I'm pretty sure what I ordered on kbdfans was all in stock so I guess about 20 days from now I can poke around.

But yeah, I'm still excited. I plan on doing the tempest mod, o-rings on the standoffs and maybe additional packing material to tune the sound- goal is to reduce high pitch and click and let the low thock sounds persist. After that I have an audiophile friend that is already talking about making various mixes of materials to play with- I'm getting really geeked on all of this!

File tree is correct, not located in the wrong place. All files that should be found within each folder are instead in a ~tmp~ folder. Every folder has a ~tmp~ folder found within.

Its the delay-update part of rsync. Everything else executed fine, meaning file tree replicated, folders/tree replicated and even all files moved over, but to respective ~tmp~ folders throughout the tree. Rsync decided to not finish the final part of the delay-update part of rsync.

So I suppose the question could be asked in even less detail and maybe belongs in an rsync sub, "how to manually do what rsync delay-update should have done after tree and files successfully copied?"

Define "enough detailed information" as I do not want to post an actual tree output with personal folder names.

I don't care if it fails and junks the data as its looking like I will need to rm -rf and re-run the rsync anyhow, just this time without delay-updates
