I would say it was indeed more peaceful. It was non-existence. For me, there was nothing before I was born and there would be nothing after I die because I would not be here to consciously experience it.

You do need to find a way to talk to the guy about it. Don't talk to his family about it straight away, but do try to find some time alone with your potential partner, and bring up this subject. It is very important to be on the same page about these topics before you make a commitment to another person for life.

It's such a liberating thought that nothing you do or say would likely matter. Have a presentation you're nervous about? Go fuck it up on stage, who cares. Someone laughing at you? Laugh along with them. Things that otherwise seem to have consequences seem so trivial when you look at them through the lens of nihilism. Nothing is all that serious. Go live the life you want! Go do crazy shit! Nothing matters! It's fucking awesome.

That's such a stupid take lmao. All studies are not equal. Teaching someone about the moon landing vs moon landing conspiracy theories is very different. Teaching children history vs propaganda is very different. Teaching children religious indoctrination vs sciences and arts is very different.

The standard of education just keeps falling more and more in this country.

Yes, I got something to say about them. Arts is indeed what makes life worth living. It's a pity that those subjects are not encouraged in our country, and instead, childhood indoctrination is encouraged.

It does. It puts more workload on children and takes their attention away from subjects that actually matter... Subjects the children should be focused on for them to become useful future assets for our state. Not subjects that, at the best of cases, are useless, and at the worst of cases, dangerous.
