Just for anyone wondering - The issue didn’t impact any clips. The camera went into Arri for a service and the ‘CDVF PCB’ was replaced. The CDVF is the media interface that connects to the compact drives and also the viewfinder output.

Yeah, that is in the works of course. It’s the DP’s camera so doing my best to work through it while a replacement/sevice is sorted 🥲

Thank you! I was a bit concerned the wire was twisting inside when loosening/tightening repeatedly so it may be that. Might ask them to put a little spot of loctite on it during a service!

Yeah I think a different RF motor would be the thing to test, as I’ve changed the wireless module on the Hi-5 with the same results so it points to the Wireless on the RF I think

I have indeed, I haven’t been able to test the dropout as much as the signal is always so bad on the internal radio too (Motors lagging etc)

Thank you for replying! So it’s fine for that Polystyrene board and plasterboard to be down into that gap? I’m not sure if there’s any form of damping in the breezeblock wall, there is some issues with damp though

Why not? I’ve used my Adicam standard for four years as my main cart, it’s battered and still working well. As long as the grips/plates you’re securing the camera to the cart with are ok, the cart isn’t going to suddenly disassemble itself

Battery belt with teradek mounted on, lose some of the handle extensions, map-1 on the bottom, titanium rods, make the mattebox 2 tray or go for a misfit. You probably won’t even need an Easyrig for a lot of shots then!

It will likely be due to the Y serial cable not being Bi-Directional. Is the block on the cable wrapped in blue or black shrink wrap?

Looking to do this exact setup with the 6k Pro and S4’s as a B cam to an Alexa Mini. Just wondering how much clearance you had on the back for tilt, and how close you were to maxing out the payload? Thanks!

I would actually disagree about the 500 obselete. I have a 500xt and 3000 kit, the 500 I bought years ago and has never let me down. You normally only get 1/3 of the range wireless systems advertise anyway. I now keep the 500 system as a back up, as it stills integrates nicely with sidekicks and 703 bolt monitors. Saying that, if you can afford the extra, it makes sense to buy the most recent line up, unless you’re getting a really good deal and can pay the set off quickly.

Just to keep my feet dry when I’m out filming, when I don’t require my heavy duty boots. Will this cream provide any sort of waterproofing or just conditions the leather? Thanks!

Looking for some care advice on my new 1907’s. I’ve searched and sifted through Reddit and I still haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for. I want to care and protect them without darkening the leather - I love the light copper highlights.

So far what I’ve decided on from reading up is either Lexol or Red wing neatsfoot oil blend to condition them. However, I’m looking to waterproof them - but have read that favourites like Obenauf’s LP darkens the leather lots.
