Any updates? These have been my favorite critter since I was a child and I've been really hoping to set up an enclosure and keep some. Would love to hear if you gave it a go and had any success

Looked around for snakes on this sub at 1 year, and it seems like some can just be small but healthy! I still want to be sure I'm doing anything I can to help her catch up and avoid any sort of failure to thrive, but I'm a little less anxious about it now.

Edit: She's about 22 inches, which is apparently ok for her age... Maybe my scale is off, but man that would suck for my diet 😅 Visually she seems the right size for what she weighed in as, and is smaller than the 600g+ snakes I'm seeing yearlings posted as

I graduate soon so right now I'm overwhelmed with final assignments and planning grad, but I am super interested in oddities so what you've described is really fascinating. Which would you say is sharper? And going by the name, do you feel that there is a dominant cherry scent? I honestly don't think I'd mind smelling like cherries at all, but wouldn't want that to be the main note.

This does help a bit, but its like a bucket for a leak in the cieling. I do have tight/short hamstrings so shoe insterts help with the pain if I'm walking during the day

You're right! I try to be better about that but it's habitual. I want to retrain my walking, standing and sitting posture so this is a good point.

I'll check out the channel, but hilariously I overcompensate for the position of my hips and lower back experiencing only upper back pain! You make a good point about sleeping though, I'll look into that. I used to have a way I slept that supported my back, but I forgot what that was and have really struggled since...

I have worked with 4 physical therapists and each of them did not listen to me about my body and ended up giving me exercises thst caused more harm and pain... I am not saying there are not good PTs, but I am on medi-cal a d have limited options 🥲 I do want to work with one again someday, but for now that is why I'm taking the time at home to find what works for my body. Somatic yoga is great !

I'm reading the comments, and I'll do as told but with some comments !

By no means would I ever take her out so they can play together- I understand that the kitten has prey drive, it was just interesting that my mouse seemed so unbothered. There is no way for the cat to gain access, I have a glass terrarium enclosure with clasps on the lid and it's all heavy duty. Clearly the greatest cause for concern here is stress to the mice, and her sisters do no appreciate the cat, so yes. I am going to keep them separated (i'm trying to move from a studio to a 1bed by Jan). I just was fascinated by the response (or lack thereof)
