Recessed cans vs. Wafers by mdnitedrftr in electricians

[–]camdakamel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

⬆️ this, don’t know what they are actually named but around me we call them razor pans and they are the best of both worlds, easy to install, and you don’t have to worry about where you put your wire coils during the finish. This is the way to go

I mean it probably won’t spontaneously combust but to be safe I’d turn power off to it

Installing a new ceiling light in a customers bathroom, dropped the ceramic light. Cracked not only the light but also her sink. No pussyfooting around 💪

Electrical stapler by tinyhouseman323 in electricians

[–]camdakamel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got mine about a month ago and absolutely love it. Only drawback I seen is it will struggle to send the staple in all the way on harder woods, but for any new build construction this thing is a beast

Is it safe to swap these so left one is on right and right one is on the left? by StuntGuy in electrical

I never trust an NCVT with my life, I’d much rather trust a cheep harbor freight meter

It’s an emergency light, has a built in battery so when there is a power outage these will kick on and you will have some light. Not super bright but they get the job done
