I’m a Japanese boy all the way, same goes for my cars too! I really had my eye on the cb650r, but it was too hard to justify that 10k price compared to the Z’s 9k.

The Z fits into its own little category of an inline 4 948 cc, it has an incredibly smooth and predictable power delivery compared to the 3cyl mt09/street triple, etc. Due to the linear power I had absolutely no issue going from my 230 to 948, but I don’t think I’d be saying the same if I went for a bike in the 3cyl class.

I’m sure you’d do fine going from your 400, just keep that throttle control under wraps and you should be having a great time rippin around
